"We enjoyed our stay here. We had participated in the homeschool conference at the Ark Encounter so it was nice staying close by. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Having a kitchen was nice too. I loved the keyless entry! Communication with the host was easy and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place. "

"This property is exactly how it is described! It is an escape back into times of old, but with all the modern amenities! The cabin was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had such a peaceful and quiet environment, all in the surrounds of nature. My husband and I will have several stays at this cabin in our future!"

"My husband and I and our friends absolutely loved our stay here. The guys visited with Larry, (the owner of the property), every evening. We visited The Ark and the Creation Museum. Then the guys headed to the Air Force Museum while we ladies relaxed on the porch. The history of Granny's House is fantastic. Loved reading the news article about it's history. Great place. Well worth the stay"

The Ark was 7 mins away, Creation Museum to the north about 43 mins away, about 35-45 mins away from horse venues towards Lexington, 1 hour away from Entertrainment Junction in Ohio, and many more places we could have gone too. "It was an adventure crossing the creek after a lot of rain, but we made it! There was plenty of room for our family of 11. The host was very attentive to our needs. Not every family member was prepared for the rusticness, but we had a great time nonetheless. The area is just gorgeous!"

"We booked this cabin because it was close to the Ark Encounter, and we wanted to have a quiet place to relax. When we arrived it hadn't been cleaned and wasn't ready for us, so we contacted the host, who apologized and assured it would be taken care of. Turned out the cleaning service was running behind and hadn't been there yet. We bought some groceries and went to a nearby restaurant for dinner and the cabin was ready when we finished. We were refunded all but a few dollars of the cleaning...

"The breakfasts were great, the beds very comfortable and the staff really friendly. We stayed 4 nights. After the second I asked that our floors be cleaned. There was popcorn on the floor from the previous occupants and the bathroom corners were grubby. On day 3 I had to rescue a toy from down the back of the bed and found skittles wrappers (not ours), and lots more, from who knows how long ago. I wish I hadn’t looked. For the price it should have been spotless. "
