"Have stayed on previous occasions, sorry to see small cafe & bar closed. Kitchen lacking kitchen crockery etc, but otherwise clean. Would like to see another couch in the room."

"The owner is a really nice lady and the garden is beautiful and well taken care of. A few things to point out: 1. Three of us stayed but only two towels and shampoo were given to us in the room. As we checked in late, we didn’t bother to ask for an extra. That’s something I don’t want to worry about after a long day. 2. A light on the kitchen wall wasn’t working and as the numbers on the stove were faded, it was hard to see if it was on high or low and which hob was on. 3. The skylight in the living room should be able to close. There is a bed underneath and I was woken up by the light. There is no point of having blackout curtains if the morning light is coming through from the ceilings. 4. I couldn’t find the key box or anyone at the front desk upon the checkout. I just left the key on the desk. (I hope you got it) I hope you can use those feedbacks in the future. "

"Staff were friendly, even got offered a bbq sausage when we arrived! Restaurant on site which was great. Walked to a concert we were attending which was only about 10-15mins away so very handy!"

"The friendly welcoming staff were excellent, even walking us to our room to show where it was. the grounds were beautiful and well maintained, as was the room. The free laundry facilities were very useful in the middle of an extended holiday. Nice sitting area on the back patio of the room. Beautiful murals on the wall. Most of all, the warm welcoming staff was appreciated."

"Budget room so great price, however no plates or cutlery apart from 2 teaspoons. Television smallest one I've ever see. "

"I do not like to stay in places that are managed by companies. They have policies and procedures that they follow. You do not get the personal service that an owner usually provides. You get one towel per person. If you need two, one to dry yourself and one to dry your hair too bad. I must say the heated towel rack does help dry your one towel out quickly. The heated toilet seat was a hit. "
