「We booked a double room but were not told it was a disability access room. We were right next to the entry access door which banged open shut all night with other guests so hardly slept. Also the sink was small & far too low to use easily. The room decor & furniture was very low quality for such a beautiful building & the complementary tea etc & shampoo was very basic. This was not a cheap hotel & we were hoping for a beautiful room like the pictures but instead were left very disappointed.」

「The rooms were clean and appeared recently refurbished. The bar was well stocked. Topical large pub atmosphere with bingo and karaoke. Does have large signs outside advertising food. Steak House Sunday carvery Good food available. Unfortunately there is no food of any description No Breakfast no lunches or evening meals. Not even bar snacks type food Nothing! Should not advertise as Hotel but Pub with good rooms above.」
