「Very nice, clean room with very helpful staff. Choice of pillows and a very comfortable, clean bed. The room was very warm, no Aircon but a fan was provided. The reception and breakfast room are in a different building, on a different road which was fine as the weather was dry. Buffet breakfast was great with good choice. We also ate in the restaurant for dinner which was also excellent. Staff were all extremely good. Would stay here again.」

「Seaview is very nice.」

「Got transfwred to spitbank fort for no extra cost , it small with not much to do but a great pla e recommend one night stay rather than our two night as spitbabk is much smaller」

「We have stayed here several times and each time it has been a little more run down. It meets basic needs. We are elderly a choose this hotel for the elevator. There are steps to enter the lobby, steps to get to the elevator and about a dozen more steps to get to the room. We declined having the room cleaned the first day but never saw housekeeping again during our 3 nights stay. The front door needs painting a cheap fix, the lobby entrance needs painting. in the bar the exterior wall needs...

「Well first the staff was helpful and professional. The location is just spectacular. You are literally across the road from the beach and it has off street dedicated parking. A lovely parade along the beach, great for a stroll. Good places to eat near by and a Coop virtually around the corner. I was able to set up my laptop in the common room and had the place virtually to myself. I'd stay here again.」

「Very nice room and great location.」

「This was the second time I’ve stayed at Florence Gardens, and it’s proved to be as exceptional as I found it on my first visit. The rooms are extremely comfortable and warm, the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and I won’t hesitate to stay there again on my next visit to Portsmouth.」
