“Room was clean with a nice kitchenette. ”

“I think it was circumstantial, but there was a group in the hotel that made my stay very unpleasant. Shared spaces were dominated by this group and they were generally rude. I was enroute to another city and have always enjoyed stopping in Charleston and staying at this hotel. However, this time was simply awful. I wasn't able to take advantage of the amenities, especially breakfast, so I just left as soon as I got up the next morning. Room was fine, clean, but my experience other than that……

“I love the Embassy Suites because the rooms are very accommodating with the bedroom livingroom style rooms. The made to order breakfasts are perfect way to start the morning. My main complaint about this Emabssy in particular is the parking garage is quite the walk down the street, which makes loading and unloading difficult. With no catwalk to get there in case of inclement weather. I probably will not stay there again because of this reason.”

“All staff were very nice and accommodating. However the facilities are tired and need refreshing. It is conveniently located with easy walking distance to most places.”

“Staff is excellent! The room looked a little rough around the edges. Nail polish dumped down the bedside table and onto the carpet. Spots on the carpet as well. Not sure when the top blanket on the bed had been laundered last. I folded it down and went on. The property is beautiful and is close to the highway. Easy access to everything. The lobby is nice and inviting. The breakfast was good. ”

“Staff was kind and efficient at check in. Hotel was clean and a good location for our needs. The view leaves a bit to be desired, but it's a busy city.”

“Breakfast area was small and the breakfast offerings could be more extensive. But it was worth the price overall.”

“The breakfast menu was not very good; the eggs were watery, and there was no fruit option. But the worst part was the pillows — they were flat and hard, as if they had been used a thousand times and had no fluff left, like a flattened cake.”

“Hotel is separated into two buildings. One for the lobby, pool, fitness center and restaurant and the other for all the rooms. A hallway connects the two. Its a non smoking hotel which is great, except when people are outside the door smoking, the smoke gets sucked into the hallway towards the restaurant due to the cross breeze when the doors open. The restaurant is over priced for the food you get. I purchased a Philly cheesesteak sandwich for $15 and it looked like a kids sandwich on a small……

“The room was clean. Could use an upgrade in the pillows. Breakfast was okay. Coffee was Nescafé which I do not like. Adequate parking. ”

“Everything was good with this hotel except the noise from the highway. Our room was in the back of the hotel and within 50 feet of the interstate and trucks made so much noise braking to go around the curve. Difficult to sleep. ”

“Our bathtub was creepy. Couldn't stabilize our temperature in room plus loud fan! Waffle iron was dirty. Waffle batter didnt work well. But i liked they had sugar free syrup. Breakfast was fair. Wakened by doors banging loudly every time someone left their room. Location good just nw of Charleston.”
