Had a wonderful stay!

My partner and I recently stayed here for a 3 day weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time. The property had ample room and was well furnished, and was well equipped with games and entertainment. Check in/out also could not have been any easier, would definitely consider booking again for future trips!

Beautiful home.

Home was very clean. Enjoyed walking by the river. Kids enjoyed everything and being outside. Plenty of board games to play. Very beautiful home. Will be staying again!

Great stay! Kid friendly

The house was beautiful and was more than we expected! It was very kid freiendly and the bunk beds were really sturdy for younger kids. There is lots of space inside and out. It was very quiet and had a beautiful view.

B-Day staycation

Me and my boyfriend were looking for somewhere off to itself but in a nice location to get away for his birthday and we found that with this place! It was so nice and clean inside, and had everything we could possibly need to be able to stay in and cook meals as well. I definitely recommend staying here and would 100% stay here again!

Loved the massage chair!

Lovely cottage on the Potomac. Very clean the pillows and bed linens were very nice. Close to all the scenic activities in the area. Would stay here again.

Amazing

The stay was amazing, everything was provided and the places were very clean. It’s is a great place if you want to relax for a few days. The checking process was also very easy, I would definitely recommend!

Cute, Tastefully decorated comfortable home

We had a relaxing stay at this adorable home, out in the country near the river. Very cute and tastefully decorated had fun games to play indoors and outdoors. We felt comfortable as we relaxed in the nicely appointed house. Loved every minute of our stay!

Great place, especially for families

My husband and I stayed here on the weekend we were to take a Potomac Eagle Railroad trip. While it was just the two of us, I could see how great it would be for families as there were games and a lot for everyone to do. The place was beautifully decorated and the location was peaceful. We were able to get in touch with our host whenever we needed. A lovely stay!

Rustic Hideaway

Beautiful and well maintained home. Comfortable, clean and accomodating. Convenient to Romney WV activities. Just about every amenity you'd need for short or longer stays. Highly recommended.

Wedding Get away

This river retreat was a great place to stay before our nieces wedding! Very clean, lots of room and had everything we needed. Nice outside areas with a fire pit and sitting area. I can not say enough about Daves (owner ) hospitality and communicating with him was very easy! If you enjoy peace and tranquility this place had it all. Will definitely be staying there again!

Cabin like feel. Very clean. Kids loved the seperate bunk house with triple bunk bed. 2 min walk to beautiful river. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet Setting

Check-in was very easy. We had no need to contact the owner but if we needed to it was easy just to text the owner. The house is very clean, area is quiet & close to Potomac Eagle Railway & many Civil War sites. Would stay here again if ever in the area

Beautiful Cliffside Cabin

We had a great stay. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We misunderstood the listing as there is no direct river access. There are two “fishing” spots as you walk along the road but were too steep for our dogs. We just walked the 1/4 mile down to the bridge for our dogs to swim. Overall this cabin is gorgeous, clean, and the property was well kept and beautiful. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

Cottage in the wood

Rustic coziness blended with all the modern conveniences! I would recomend this cottage for both adults and families. If a rainy day would keep you inside there are games galore inside to keep everyone entertained. Much to do in the area. I recommend to anyone to check out the Patomic Eagle train ride. This cottage is within just a few min to the station. Great experience all around.

Wonderful home off the beaten track

Nestled in a forested country setting next to a river, this home is lovely and offers so much, with fantastic inside and outside spaces. The kitchen and dining room have everything you'd need whether you're doing the cooking or getting takeout; the living-room is comfortable and has a big tv, games, books, a massage chair and more; and the bedrooms have comfortable beds with lots of extra bedding and a generous supply of pillows. Outside is so beautiful. We had a fire in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows to make s'mores while watching the brilliant stars in the night sky. The host was perfect with great communication and attention to detail. We hope to visit again and bring our grandkids. Highly recommended.
