「Just back from a spring getaway to beautiful Roan Mountain. This was our second stay at Kim and Art's lovely mountain cottage. Had a great time hiking with our dogs, who loved being off leash at the property. The cottage is clean, cozy and artfully decorated. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. 「There was hair in the shower and sink. The shower liners looked dirty and much to long and hanging in the dirty water. Trash was left in the downstairs. There was no toilet paper, trash can liners, or soap for the shower. Multiple obvious mouse traps left the feeling there was a mouse problem that we may encounter- which we did not. 」

「Overall the cabin we stayed in was very well built. Great location much more roomy than expected which was nice for two people, nice to have the amenities that it did. Hot tub was definitely great after a day in the Mtn to relax and end the day. Also saw some deer on the property that was a nice encounter. Cleanliness was fair I imagine the cabin had been shut up for awhile there was a lot of dust on the walls especially above the bed and a few dead files on the floor but the rest of the cabin...
