"Charming room with basic amenities, very quiet at night, only about 30 minutes from Grant Grove Village. The openable windows and ceiling fan are great. Reasonably priced. "

"We stayed in the main unit, a lovely and cozy cabin. The manager left notes about the weather and instructions on using everything in the cabin. The place had everything one could dream of, for a cabin in the woods. It was very comfortable and quiet, and we immensely enjoyed our stay. We originally booked one of the small units. The weather was not good. It was snowing a lot, and the manager was very considerate and changed us to the main unit. We are very grateful for this change. "

"What a phenomenal place to stay. If you’re looking for place nearby look no further. Connie is extremely warm and welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. She also makes the best breakfasts, which is incredible way to start a long day of hiking! The place is on a beautiful property with friendly dogs only 30 mins away from the entrance to Kings Canyon. I would absolutely stay here anytime I’m in the area and cannot recommend it enough. I was also able to purchase an amazing wooden hiking staff that her son made. Connie I got it through TSA! "

"Lots of rules written on paper all over the room. Made me afraid to use or touch anything or we would be charged extra. Made it uncomfortable. I liked the room."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub didn't look as though they were maintained regularly, so we didn't use them. Many of the rooms are non-smoking, but there is a table with an ashtray just outside where people were smoking close to the non-smoking rooms. Staff was nice and helpful. Irene was kind enough to show us inside the suite as we had asked about it and it was not booked that day. The suite looked very spacious. Overall the Edgewater Inn seemed to be a reasonable value."

"I liked that the people there running it was really nice! Is a nice getaway for a short stay! What I didn't like about my stay is when they gave my room that I reserved for a reason to someone else all because they didn't want to sleep in the same bed! I reserved 2 queen beds for a reason! I had 3 people in my group and there so called upgrade for me was a bed and a couch and said they would bring us some wine for staying in that upgraded room but never brought it! Then the next day had to move our stuff to go to our original room that we were suppose to have to start with! That was not right for them to give away our room like that! If I stay there again I won't except anything but what I reserved!"
