"I was looking for a quiet break and that's exactly what I received at the Shepherds Hut! So peaceful with beautiful surroundings made it easy to relax. The hut was spotless and in excellent condition. Easy to use cooking facilities. Great place to stay for a few days relaxing break. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!"

"The toilet was so high up i couldn't do a sh*t. I'm six foot tall, but when I was sat on the toilet my feet were not touching the ground. Overall, the place was pretty bleak, e.g. no mirror in the bedroom to check my outfit, only one pillow so I got neck ache in bed, no towel rail or hooks anywhere in the bathroom so couldn't hang up a towel, no hook in the bedroom to hang up a coat, no toilet roll holder. "Perfect place for our extended family of 8. We only spent one night (heading to Aberdeen the following day for a wedding) but we found it to be very relaxing especially the back courtyard. The home was very clean and the mattresses were very comfortable. We had a great dinner down by the harbor which was within walking distance. The host was very very available and worked with us for an early check in. Would definitely recommend!"
