Amazing

Great stay on a very nice boat. Manager was very response and accommodating to needs. Location is lovely and had a great view. Area was very quiet yet central to everything. The food trucks in the parking lot were great! Easy parking. Close to downtown and grocery store, restaurants. Would stay again !

St Augustine weekend

Very nice stay and cute/comfortable/clean boat. Glad we did it for my hubs birthday. We brought our cooler to keep some food stuff. The kitchen is obviously not large as to be expected but it was nice to be able to have our snacks and food if you don't want to go out for all meals. The boat/marina/bathrooms were all very nice and we enjoyed our time! Thank you to our hosts!

Perfect overnight stay

Loved our stay! We booked for only one night for a concert we were coming in town for and instantly wished we had allowed ourselves more time for the trip based on the great accommodations. With several unique food trucks in the adjacent courtyard and only minutes from The Amp, it was the perfect location and the boat was cozy and well stocked. We’ll be back next month for another show, and will be booking an extra night to fully indulge ourselves. Thank you again!

Something new...something different.

Great location. The food trucks were awesome. The bathroom facilities were better than expected. There were a few issues on the sailboat that we emailed them about, but never received a reply. Overall, we would do it again there, but on one of the other boats that we saw available.

Intimate stay right at the English Landing Marina

Small sail boat / Yatch perfect intimate space for a couple or two people since it does have two separate beds. It can accommodate for more than three people but it may be too crowded. Good amount of standing head room, but may be too low for tall people. I recommend this boat motel for those seeking for a place to stay right by the ocean, waking up to the sound of the ocean, feel the wave from other boats sailing by, maybe mingle with your fellow boat neighbors right next door and sleep under the stars while you feel that perfect summer breeze! I was happy to sleep inside or outside.Very small kitchen equipt with simple general appliances, plates and utensils. The kitchen sink, mini fridge and toilet worked well. Sink drain was slow and the toilet needed to be manually pumping when going #1. All showers and for when going number #2 were located in a private bathroom facility right by the parking lot about 30-50 ft away from our boat. Super clean private bathroom facility, great hot water with great water pressure.We were careful enough to use the electrical kitchen appliances one a time to avoid a possible power outage since all boats are at risk when you have too many things running at the time. We brought our own mini grill and with permission grilled right at the dock next to out boat, boy we had a blast.There are also a great variety of food trucks right on the marina of you rather not cook, alcoholic beverages can here's a gas station right across the street too

Mini getaway

The cleanliness of the boat was good, however it was much more dated than the picture showed. It was in a good location, bathroom facilities on shore were fantastic and food trucks were nice. I would recommend installing a regular AC as the portable one did nothing more than heat the cabin with the discharge air emissions. Once the sun went down and I opened the hatch over the bed and placed a large box fan we brought with us in the doorway it circulated the air nicely. I laid in bed and watched the Perseid meteor shower through the roof hatch. It was an experience I'll never forget!! Overall it was a great experience!

Fun stay and so clean!!

Loved this experience. It's like being in a small apartment. First two days were cold and wet, but there's a small space heater that warms up the entire space! Can be a little wet in the ladder area due to canopy not covering all of hatch area making the floor and counters wet. No table available, but shown in pics. Made it hard to work from home or eat without a proper place to set things on. The electric single stove top does not work. Beyond that, everything was exceptional. The marina is completely quiet with great views (dolphins outside every day) and has food trucks. There's a winn-dixie within a 5 minute walk, wal-mart a 10 minute walk. Hurrican Patty's for great seaside food and you can easily walk to downtown St. Augustine and Flagler collect, San Sebastian and others with no effort. Honestly, you don't even need a car to enjoy and get around. If its warm, the hatches open and there are two fans that I used to circulate the air and was more than ample to keep cool on an 83 degree sunny florida day. I would absolutely recommend everything about this, but I would recommend a camping mat under any mattress for firmer bedtime support. The boat was exceptionally clean and the marina bathrooms are close, modern, clean and secure. Very well decorated. Never a concern about safety and dog friendly. Enjoy it!!!

Terrible communication

I enjoy staying on a boat but this boat is not maintained well. My biggest problem is when I reached out to get help with things that didn’t work I got no response during my stay. Very disappointing.

Pictures are a bit inaccurate, as usual.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay on the Blue Oasis. However, the pictures on the listing make the condition of the boat appear a lot newer and in better condition than it really is. The main galley door does not have a lock on it, so we did not feel safe leaving our belongings on the boat when we were away during the day. The toilet did not pump out very well (we used the toilet only for #1 visits). The kitchen sink drains clogged up; even though we did not wash anything down them but liquids. On a positive note, though, when we sent a message through the VRBO listing email about the clogged kitchen sink drain, the maintenance gal responded very quickly, as she was cleaning the boat next to the Blue Oasis. And the new building at the marina just a few steps away that has three full bathroom/shower facilities is very nice!

A Slum Wharf

I really don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews and I don’t understand the 5* reviews of this one. I will be petitioning VRBO for a refund. And I lived on a boat so…This is not a safe place to stay and this boat looks nothing like the photos anymore - I do not think photos were taken since the original purchase of the property, and I do not think the owner has been on this property in recent years.This is a neglected boat, not a “ classic…a little old”.Exposed bolts and screws waiting for a head to hit, no hot water, a non-functional coffee maker, a Bimini that is rigged, cracked plastic sheeting someone melted a hole in (and drips on you) that you can’t stand up under, a TV trying to fall off that doesn’t work, no tables as in the photos. It is NOT a fully stocked kitchenette - no way to cook anything although there was some silverware, mugs and wine glasses. The bathrooms at the wharf are clean, check-in was easy, the food trucks are fun BUT they leave the music on, loudly, all night, so ya’ gotta like to sleep noisy in a wharf. Any real sailor would cry looking at the boats here - most haven’t been registered in years and are simply being used to make a few bucks. Back out now if you have booked. I emailed the owner all the issues we had in staying just one night and was ghosted. I didn’t expect well-oiled teak wood or sails furled and waiting, but yuck.

Nice and relaxing

This was a nice and relaxing spot to spend a few days. George Street was about a 15-20 minute walk away. Many other attractions were very accessible as well as plenty of coffee shops and restaurants . The property manger was very helpful and quick to communicate. We were aware of the fact that these are vintage vessels and didn't expect them to be pristine but they were comfortable and taken care of. We also realized that this was not a resort and some amenities were very basic. Using the Marina shower rooms and facilities were expected. They were clean and well taken care of. This just added to the adventure. I am just over 6' and banged my head several times. This was not the property owner's fault, just know that if you are much over 6' you will need to duck a lot. We didn't have any major issues to speak of. The biggest negative was the lack of consistent signal on the TV. We wound up just using our laptop for entertainment in the evening after sunset. This was frustrating but not a deal breaker since we were there to just relax. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the morning sunrise and the peacefulness at the end of the day. The best review I can give is we will be back.

Fun location boat needs work.

Well, you need to remember it’s a boat. I lived on a boat for years and I know what it takes to keep up a boat. With a little TLC this would be so nice. For the current price, ($550.+) for a weekend go to a nice hotel. The host knew we were coming. 1st night was miserable, no lights, limited power supply we couldn’t use tv, iPods or charge devices. We toughed it out because it was late.. “Manager” came the next morning. With lights and power it was better. Inside was acceptable but everything onthe outside needs work. Hatches hard to open, a simple step would make boarding easier, hinders rusted through, teak work needed help. Most of the vessel was repaired with non marine supplies. So they painted surfaces instead of gel coat. So when you sit on the boat flakes come off on your clothes. Too many little things to write about that would make this experience better. But the good points are the location, the fun food trucks on the dock and of course seeing the sunrise. I think it’s extremely overpriced. Will not do it again.

Worst stay ever!!!!

My husband and I were looking forward to, and extremely excited, for a getaway without the kids. We paid extra to check in early and received confirmation of payment. Once we finally found the boat it looked nothing like the pictures posted. The cushions were old, faded, and falling apart. The boat was much older than the pictures posted. In fact, the boat looked like a different boat than what was seen online. Once we arrived we realized that there was no real way to get on the boat. No steps, handles, or support. My husband made it on the boat with extreme difficulty. When I tried to get on the boat I ended up falling on the side of the boat hurting myself and ripping my clothes. Luckily, I did not fall into the water, but came very close to doing so as blood poured down my left leg hanging on for dear life. I stayed on the dock unable to make it onto the boat as my husband looked around inside the boat. Used condoms were present, urine left in the bathroom, trash everywhere, and the boat was a complete mess. We were applauded and very upset. A few minutes later house keeping walked up to the boat and we informed her of the mess. She apologized and said she had not had a chance to clean the boat. My husband and I asked to stay at another boat instead. We were moved to a houseboat that had little to no AC and beds were on the floor. Again, we became very upset. Management then had the audacity to ask us for more money since we had moved boats. We explained to management what happened and that we would not be paying any extra money and instead to cancel the reservation in full. Management gave us a hard time unwilling to cancel the reservation and instructed us to call VRBO to cancel reservation. Called VRBO and reservation was canceled as requested. Management refunded less than half of what I had originally paid. When asked for clarification of the refund I received no response from management in return. For any potential future guests I would NEVER stay at this location, run!!!!!

You Must Stay!

We've had a very rough 3yrs am d took a second honeymoon at Dream Aboard. Don't be fu fu. Be in the moment with your partner and this is the perfect get away. Quiet and peaceful and close to social as you want. It's a retired beautiful lady who wraps you in comfort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back next year.

Looks can be deceiving

The blue oasis looks good on the outside but once you step inside, it’s one issue after another. I will never stay here again. Hopefully they will get the issues fixed before someone else stays here.

Amazing Place!!!

From the time of booking place to check out was very easy and pleasant. Place was clean, cute and comfortable. Was raining over the weekend we stay , but that made our stay even nicer. What was outstanding that second day some nice women came and asked if we need anything : extra towel, water etc. and asked if everything is ok. That was very nice :) Thank you so much for everything!!! Your boat made my bday weekend even more special.

Reconsider....

We overpaid on a night's stay but based upon the photos and description, decided to book a night. We realized the VERY next day the price dropped in half!! It was not a holiday weekend or anything like that, we were just over charged for one night! They should know - in the summer months the small a/c portable unit in the cabin cannot cool adequately! It makes the onboard bathroom smell too much to handle and it was so warm we could not stay and sleep there. We had to leave at night! There was a storm prior and the door (3 wood panels that stack precariously) would not close right. NO instructions on how to do this (we aren't boaters). I had to message and did get a prompt response how to close panels but so much water got in prior and we were soaked! Tried to leave to get off boat when there was lightening but the door to the marina broke and we couldn't until we messaged and someone came to fix it. All around - nightmare! When we asked for even a partial refund - NO WAY! DON"T stay here - run.... DESPITE all this we do bless the owners and pray they will be fair to others going forward!

cool concept but definitely not what I expected. The AC leaked water and had to be run constantly because it was very hot inside. The restroom facility was outside of the gate and very inconvenient. The marina had a very foul smell.
