Family Vacation
We stayed during Memorial Day weekend with 3 families. There was plenty of space for all of us to relax without feeling cramped. The pool was a perfect size for our kids and adults to relax in! The other thing is neighbors are a little close but it didn't bother us because we stayed in or were out at the pool/beach when they were out. Very quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants. Perfect location!

Great house/great vacation
Myself and my wife stayed here for 32 nights February 2024. We had some visitors for about a week. The house was great. There was sun in the morning out by the pool, then later in day on the porch next to the pool and then on the west facing porch on the second floor. The management team, David and Patti and others, were very responsive. There were a couple of issues in the beginning that were addressed very promptly. We had the pool heated and it worked fine. The neighborhood is great for walking around and since the house is on a dead end, there is no traffic. It’s a short walk to the beach and it’s great to be able to drive on the beaches in St Augustine Beach.

Girls Trip to St Augustine
This is the first stay for all of us in the area. The house was in a nice quiet neighborhood and close walking distance to the beach. A couple of items to note: The refrigerator was extremely loud and the person sleeping in the futon bunk had to wear earplugs to sleep The dishwasher was horrible and once we ran it couldn’t tell if dishes were clean so often hand washed dishes. The dryer destroyed 2 shirts that got caught inside during the drying cycle. The pool is nice and hot tub was wonderful! I would definitely stay here again

Christmas at Ocean Breeze
We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this beautiful home. There were 7 adults, 1 child and 2 teens. The spa was popular with many but the water temperature was too chilly for swimming since we didn't request that the pool be heated. We had some difficulty getting into the house but that was immediately solved with one phone call. The living room does not have enough seating for the number of people without moving furniture. The outside porch is a spacious place to spend time when the weather is warmer. We did spend a few hours on the beach one day. There was intermittent rain the other days. Being Christmas vacation, there were other activities to keep us occupied. We joined the crowds at Nights of Lights in downtown St.Augustine but avoided the traffic by parking outside the city and riding the free shuttle. We do highly recommend this home for your vacation. It is not on the beach but a short walk away.

Sister's Thanksgiving 2023
From the moment my husband & I arrived.we were plesantly suprised with this home. The host, David had contacted us that morning .He was a text or call away the whole time we were there. I had packed too much extra stuff. This home was complely stocked.The kitchen was a delight to cook in . The home is really spacious 3 of the bedrooms have an outside balcony.One had a ping pong table which my neices loved The bathrooms are not tight at all. The living areas were big enough so we could all be together. 9 adults + . But plenty of spaces for alone time. The pool and hot tub area was wonderful ,we did not use it as i expected but it was clean and maintained while we were there. There is a path to the beach a few houses over It was a wonderful place for our 2023 Thanksgiving Memories. Well worth the $$$

Great Property & Location
We only stayed for a couple of nights, but the property was awesome. The neighborhood the house is in is the best in the St. Augustine area for those visiting the beach for vacation. There’s easy access to the beach, it is close to restaurants and grocery stores, and it is on a quiet street.

Above our expectations!
We are six cousins who do an annual trip together. We had a wonderful week at this lovely, well appointed home. Easy access to the beach, shopping and area attractions. Very comfy beds and furniture and great kitchen set up! Owners were very attentive and responsive … have already recommended this property to several friends and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Stay
We had a great time with our family. The house was roomy and clean inside and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach, which was nice. About 15 minutes to downtown St Augustine which was perfect for us. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub with our babies. All bedrooms are upstairs except the bunk bed, which is in a cubby downstairs (not much privacy for that one). The big table was great for family game nights and dinners. We would definitely stay here again. We have already booked another trip in one of their other properties!

Enjoyable vacation house
This was a great place to stay for our family of 8 --a 1-yr old, a 4&5 yr old, 4 parents and a grandmother all found areas of the house enjoyable. The pool provided hours of fun, the beach was not crowded, though the walk there was more like 8+ minutes with the children. The owner was very responsive and the ping pong table was a great hit. Water pressure varied, some beds were soft and noisy, and there were issues with the pool -sometimes we had to fill the pool and the hot tub just heated the whole pool and never got hot enough itself. Bring your own beach equipment and body wash, but the owner provided enough laundry and dishwasher soap for the 4 days we were there. We would come back again.

We do state what is and is not provided on our listing and guests can always ask us if they are not sure. From this review, it sounds like the guest did not follow the spa heating video that we provide. The water from the spa should not be spilling over into the pool when it's set correctly to heat the spa. If guests ever have a question about the spa operation, all they need to do is text us. As this guest noted, we are very responsive and happy to help!

Family / Friends Trip
We had a great time staying here, but the pictures on the listing are somewhat outdated. There are a few things around the house that needed updated, such as the light out back over the pool. I also did not realize when I booked this that there was a schedule to be able to use the pool. We like to book our own house instead of a condo/hotel so we can swim whenever we want, so that was kind of disappointing because what’s the point of having your own pool if you can’t do an early morning/late night swim if you want.

Thank you again for choosing us for your stay! We don't mind if guests swim in the pool at late hours. We just need our guests to be respectful of the neighbors, that is why we have pool hours. It makes it easier for us to enforce it if the neighbors call and complain because guests are being noisy past 10 pm (county noise ordinance). We rarely get complaints from the neighbors, but when we do, we do want to be able to tell our guests that there are pool hours. We are glad you enjoyed your time here in St. Augustine and we hope to host you again someday.

Family-friendly, clean property with a great pool!
Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Ocean Breeze. The pool is wonderful. Our six-year-old granddaughter couldn't wait to get in the pool every morning and learned to swim there. Communication with David was easy, and he responded quickly to any questions we had. The house is clean and set up well. We hope to come back someday!

Great house and location. Well equipped with kitchen utensils and dishes. Pool was great. Advertised description was accurate. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the bath towels. the towels smelled musty and washing them did not help. Other than that, great place to have a family vacation.

Perfect! Our family of 9 stayed at this house and the amount of space and rooms/bathrooms worked out great! House was clean, pleanty big enough, and just a short stroll down to the beach!! We enjoyed our time at Butler Beach. The house was great and the swimming pool just made the stay perfect. We all enjoyed afternoon pool time to cool off after being on the beach each morning and the pool is shaded in the afternoon which was perfect!

Amazing Beach Getaway
We had the best time staying here!! The owner was wonderful about letting us know when someone was coming to clean the pool and let us check in early as we arrived. Beautiful home with plenty of space for me and all my friends, perfect walk to the beach and the outdoor areas were amazing hang out in after a long day at the beach! Big house great location
A really unique home in a great location. A couple minutes and you're at the beach. The hot tub was an asset with cooler weather but pool was refreshing. We came with 3 busy boys ages 10-14 and they felt comfortable and at home. Communication with hosts was quick and easy.

What a week
What a great week at this vacation rental. From the house to the scenery, it was magnificent. A rather relaxing pool and tub in the back, or a 3 minute walk to miles of beautiful beach, the choice is yours. Our stay surpassed our expectations in every facet of the game, from beginning to end. The property manager was incredibly attentive, answering an question or inquiries in a matter of minutes. If anyone is looking for a rental in St Augustine area, this should arise to the top of your list.

Could be better
Whoever took the pictures of the property really know how to take pictures. Pictures are definitely better than the property. It was really not cleaned well; understandable it is a beach property but.... not clean. Supplies either left behind or given to us with the property were very minimal at best, did not give off the feel of home. Beds were very noisy and uncomfortable. Towel racks falling off the walls, issue with the spa which we never got to use because it never once heated properly. David was helpful with the spa pump, but it continued to act up throughout the seven days we stayed. Landscaping is non-existent and the house echoes throughout, no naps for babies. We will find a different home to stay in for a family Thanksgiving vacation next time.

We are very responsive to any guest needs/issues and are glad that David was helpful with the spa. Our pool technician regularly checks our equipment (he visits twice per week) and the heater was working before and after this guest’s stay. If a guest ever needs assistance with the pool equipment, they need only ask and we are happy to help. Our property is as pictured in the listing and is cleaned by a professional cleaning crew after every stay. We even have quality control checkers who visit the properties after the cleaners to ensure that they are ready for our guests. They are happy to return to the house in the rare instance where something needs to be redone. We inform guests in our listing description that the cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started and we let guests know they may need to bring/buy these items if they think they will need more than we provide.

The house was clean perfect for us! Enjoyed the Ping pong and heated pool! Close to the beach. It rained and washed dirt and debris into the pool. Someone stopped by and looked at the pool but did not clean the pool. My husband cleaned the pool. We live in very safe neighborhoods at home and leave our cars unlocked. 2 of the cars were left unlocked and ALOT was taken the night before we checked out. This is why the 2 stars on location & neighborhood🙃

We are so glad that you enjoyed the fun amenities at this house! The pool and Ping Pong table are always big hits. There is a professional pool technician that visits twice per week to clean/maintain the pool. We have never had an issue with any theft from this property in the past. It’s ill advised to leave your vehicles unlocked overnight in any neighborhood, especially with expensive valuables inside.

Great house and location
Nice home with lots of bedrooms - great kitchen fairly well stocked with pots and pans , 2 coffee makers , awesome center island and huge kitchen table . There is lots of unexpected built in storage , bathrooms were all very nice with ample hot water even for 10 adults showering around the same time . Pool and hot tub were great and the pool service provider responded quickly when we noticed debris after a big storm . A few small issues - the dryer - while it worked - did not shut off automatically - a few lights were out - and the internet was slow and patchy . Difficult to readily access back yard with pets . All in all a very nice 2 week stay ! David - the property manager is great

Family Vacation!
Our family of 6 had an amazing time. 5 adults and an 8yr old had no problem with comfort. A 5 minute walk to the beach and a pool!! Attractions and restaurants were just minutes away. We would definitely come back.

House for our golf trip
We are a group of eight guys and stayed here for a "long weekend" (Wednesday-Sunday). The property itself is in a good location; close walk to the beach and only ~30 minutes to the World Golf Village. If we were to return to the area for our trip I would consider staying here again. The property manager lives nearby and was very responsive.

Perfect Location!
A wonderful, relaxing retreat! The house is wonderful with a beautiful pool and hot tub and very spacious inside. It's very close to the beach and only a 15 minute drive into the historic area of St. Augustine.

Great Vacation
We had a great time at this home. Actually met the property owner and she was very nice and helpful. House was just as described and had a few normal wear and tear marks etc which in the terms even said “we understand things happen so minor damages are taken care of as needed or every 6 months” made me feel comfortable and not scared to let the kids walk around inside. Also the beds were amazing. I have had 4 back surgeries and didn’t hurt one time in the beds.

House was dirty, kitchen was full of ants and several roaches! Beds were very uncomfortable and couches are VERY old. We took pictures but can’t upload on here. No seating area outside. Location was great!

Great space. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of space to spread out. The kids LOVED the pool. The beach was easy to get to but lots of stairs on the board walk so we couldn’t bring our wagon like we wanted but we made it work! Owner is very nice and responsive. Would stay again! 😌

Perfect Extended Family Vacation
This house was wonderful for our extended family's vacation! 11 of us stayed very comfortably in the house. We had every age range from 1 year old to 75! The closest beach access wasn't great with all the stairs, but we were able to make a quick drive to the next one, problem free. My only real complaint the whole week was the washing machine... it worked great, but definitely has some smell issues, probably due to tons of use and never having been properly cleaned. However, it didn't seem to be an issue except on our last load. All in all, fantastic place to stay!

Very good! The pool was excellent to keep kids age 4, 6, and 2 busy and entertained! The beach was also a great time as the kids and some of the family were from Utah and had no experience with oceans and sea life! They learned a lot from this vacation!
