we always enjoy our week at the Hibiscus. It would be nice if the stove burns sat flat on the stove. The Teflon pan needs replaced. A fresh coat of paint would make a difference.

Always love coming here

Our only complaint is that the condo wasn't fully cleaned when we arrived. There were chips and crumbs on the counters, floors, chairs/bench. The table and counters were sticky. There was a ton of lint in the dryer. When we first got there, an open bottle of water on the table.

Unit was not clean floors dirty (I sweep floors but needing to be mopped,not swiftered. Jacuzzi tub dirty soapscum,oil residual in tub. I called on 6/29/22 to verify that unit was on ground. Was told by Lashawn that it was ground floor unit,upon arrival found out that the unit was on 2nd floor. My sister is physically handicapped can not do stairs very easily. There was no one at the office had to wait until Monday to talk to someone in the office. They were unable to change my unit, this was not a very relaxing vacation due to all of the above. Would not recommend this place.

Hibiscus F 103, weeks 10 & 11

I love Hibiscus, but a few things need fixing. We requested that you put in a screen on the window in the guest bedroom -- it never happened. Really a problem! And the tile in the guest bathroom REALLY needs repair!! Those were the worst, but the interior doors need repair along the bottom. And I'm appalled to hear that you may be replacing the DR chairs partially with a bench -- yuk! Who wants to sit on a bench for dinner? And those chairs are wonderful -- I love them. Please don't replace them!! Fix the other things first. Thanks, Jane Elmore

Great location w/a peekaboo view of the ocean

The location of this unit was great. 15 min to downtown Saint Augustine. right out the door to the pool and hot tub. This unit is upstairs, we wondered since it was 103 in bldg F, we thought it might be on the main floor. The unit could use some decorating and beachy colors to make it a bit more inviting. There is a two-person jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom but it takes about an hour of off and on to get enough hot water in the tub to use it. Great in theory though. We did like the high ceilings in the unit and the layout was good. We would definitely stay here again for the price.

Hibiscus was a nightmare vacation! The steps to the unit were questionable as also stated by the manager, Kathy (yes, I know the steps should have been replaced years ago)! When we opened the door to this dated, disgusting unit it was a nightmare! It was dark due to poor lighting, throwback to the 70s, there were dead bugs in the light fixtures, ceilings were chipped & patched throughout, dirt hanging off the fans, kitchen not properly equipped, bathrooms old. Mold on vents. Sliding door old, chipped, and not properly working. The unit had bandaid after bandaid after it! Total unit it needs to be gutted and be redone! How dare you think it's okay to rent this out to anyone!!

Excellent home! Really enjoyed our stay, would book again!

There's so much to say, I don't know where to begin. We had a great experience at Hibiscus. Furniture was comfortable, beds and linens very comfortable and great value for the price. Linens were clean, plenty of towels, access to several grills, short walk to the beach, and many more positive experiences. There were only a few, small issues that were not big concerns for us. A couple of issues in the kitchen with dirty dishes (mainly water spots or burned pans) and we couldn't find a trash liner for the kitchen garbage can, only one provided. No big deal, we got our own but there wasn't a kitchen sponge either. Dish soap and detergent was provided and a few other cleaning tools which was great. Overall, I would definitely recommend these condos. We loved our stay. Thanks again! PS. We never needed to contact management but they sent me several text messages, confirming the trip and providing info prior to our stay. That was also convenient and thoughtful.

A Comfy Beach Stay

The property was very clean and spacious. Although the building is older (very cool 70's look), it was exactly what we needed in a condo by the beach.
