One of the Magnificent Seven historical buildings around the Queen's Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain in Trinidad. Now fully refurbished it was earmarked to be a hotel for visiting Diplomats etc to the Govt of Trinidad and Tobago.
The building, which is home to one of the top colleges in Trinidad and Tobago, Queen's Royal College or known locally as QRC, was opened in 1904. One of the most striking of the Magnificent Seven the main block was fully restored in 2009 and features a clock tower with a clock that chimes. Front desk staff are very friendly. The room condition was not the best. The bathroom shower had a leak that. I reported and no one showed up as promised . There was a nasty buildup of mold at the outside of the shower base that hasn't been cleaned or overlooked.
