Pleasant Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Bungalow. Our group consisted of two related families and we were all comfortable. There was plenty of space to spread out. The kids liked the bunk room and having their own TV. We really enjoyed the close proximity to the beautiful beach. The fenced in backyard was nice for our dog. It was great to hear the waves from the house and to sit outside on the deck. Thank you for a relaxing stay!

Relaxing Stay for the whole family

This was a great stay for our family, the backyard being fenced in and right down the back stairs was super convenient for traveling with our dog. Homeowner was very responsive to any questions we had. Overall home was exactly as pictured. Short walk to the beach. We would book again!

Family Beach Trip

Our family had a wonderful time at this venue. It had all we needed. Great location just across from the beach. 2 minute walk to the sand. Only 2 draw backs to this property are one that there are no electrical outlets in the garage area underneath the home. This was a concern because we did take our own electric golf cart and we weren’t able to charge it at all. The second is the bathrooms. They are very outdated and if you’re over 5’4 tall the master bathroom shower is very challenging to shower in. Several of us had to use the outside shower downstairs because it was quite honestly the best one. Overall it was a nice property and we enjoyed our family time

A few comments on our stay.

Overall impression was very good with the following pluses: Beds comfy, large comfy couch, close to Gulf of America just a quick walk thru public access trail 2 mins, fenced yard for dog was good with access from house directly down from the balcony into the yard, A/C cold, shaded elevated front porch, parking under the house in shade, hot shower, use of two bikes, good WIFI and a large DVD collection, TV's in all bedrooms and living area. Now just a couple of minor issues: If you're going to be staying a while especially with max occupancy of 8 make sure you bring extra toilet and paper towels. We were just two people so the one roll in each bathroom just sufficed for our 6 days stay. Bring your own shower soap. Hand soap was supplied. Only one pod for dishwasher. Also, it was requested to wash all towels and dry them, a first for us with the drying request. We put towels in washer started it and left; we did not have time in the morning to dry towels and check out at 10am. Loaded and started dish washer before leaving after breakfast. If you plan on cooking bring everything. We brought premade meals for a couple breakfast and dinners and ate out otherwise. Paddys and Blue Parrot restaurants on the island were pretty good. The island was not crowded with little traffic (car or golf carts) during our stay Apr 25 - May 1st, 2025. First time to St George Island and we liked it a lot. Very peaceful and friendly environment. State Park was nice also.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture, and I'm gonna need the name of the mattress topper on that king-sized bed. Slept SO good during my visit!! Will definitely be back and will recommend to friends!

House is beautiful and we had a wonderful time.Shower curtains need replaced. The dishes were loaded but not turned on. My husband fixed a drawer that wasn’t opening properly.We would rent this house again.
