The vibrant arts, culinary and shopping scene of historic and charming Apalachicola is just 25 minutes away by car!

The exterior of this property features an amazing canal-front setting with expansive coastal views. The covered dock and adjacent boat slip offer deep water access to Apalachicola Bay and the Gulf waters beyond. The large screened porch overlooking the canal offers lots of comfortable seating, and multiple gas fire pits create the perfect ambiance for cozy evening gatherings. The fishermen in your crew will appreciate the fish cleaning station and outdoor shower after a day on the water. The ground floor also offers a screened room with a picnic table.

Inside, the open living/dining/kitchen area at Hooked Up features a stylish coastal decor with lots of comfortable seating for your group to relax and enjoy their Island vacation. The focal point of the living area is the large electric fireplace, flat screen TV and direct access to the spacious screened porch.

The well-appointed kitchen has everything needed to prepare coastal feasts and features beautiful white custom cabinetry, quartz counters, and stainless appliances. There is plenty of room at mealtime at the large dining table and kitchen counter stools. A pub table with stools on the screen porch is the perfect place for al fresco dining.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Hooked Up. The house is very comfortable and the location was great. We took a boat and went fishing in the bay. We even ate our catch one night. Plus we really like SGI. It’s old Florida at its best.

This property was just as advertised. We came for a duck hunting trip and had some vehicle issues after the first day and Alan the neighbor and property manager was super helpful. We will be back!

The Perfect Getaway

Fantastic location and perfectly appointed. The owners have thought of everything from the perfect outdoor seating locations to having a fully furnished kitchen with everything one could wish for. I couldn’t have been happier with the stay.

Family Vacation

It's great if you want to bring your boat and fish, which my husband,l son and grandson love. We can go to the beach or go fishing. We also love the area underneath the house we can cook o grill. This is our second visit and we love it.

Perfect home for a family get away!

We really enjoyed this home and it’s location. We were able to put our boat in and have it readily accessible for use the whole time. The home is perfect for a family gathering and the outdoor screened in porch was perfect once the heat of the day broke. We are already talking about returning.

Perfect Place - Relaxing, Peaceful, Quiet

This property is perfect if you’re looking for a place to simply relax and enjoy the quietness. The home is beautifully decorated, comfy couch and beds, unbelievably stocked kitchen and the screened porch is fantastic! We enjoyed sunning and reading on the dock, walking the quiet side streets with our fur babies and the roosters just down the street provided beautiful crowing throughout the day. We typically stay ON the beach, but this location was much better for us and our doodle. We spend a lot of time on the screened porch and then in the evenings turned on the fireplace while we watched some tv. We used the hot tub once and it was very relaxing, we just aren’t hot tub people. We would most definitely stay here again!!

Though told internet would be available upon arrival (Feb.1), it was not. One couple tried on three different occasions on 2/2 to restore the internet but were unable. The internet was restored midday on 2/3. The TV was still disconnected due to change in cable companies. On Saturday 2/4 a package arrived with cable components, and though we were told a technician would set things up on 2/6, it wasn't until late morning, 2/7 that reception was restored. On 2/4 we noticed a leak in the plumbing below the house. A call was made and the leak was fixed later that afternoon. From 2/8 through the end of our stay there were no further interruptions. It would be helpful to have information (such as garbage pick-up) available in print upon arrival. The house was ideally located for easy walks to the beach and the bay.

A haven

Tucked away at end of a canal with a fabulous wrap around screened porch. Porch with many treasures: swing, sofa, chairs, rocking chairs, high top with gas/charcoal, stools, even dumbbell weights tucked away in a bin. Under house fully paved with screened in hot tub, chairs to use on well maintained dock.

Island Paradise

Wonderful time on the best island Florida has to offer for some R&R. Great location for a close walk to the beach to catch those early sunrises. Awesome back porch with screens to enjoy the cooler evenings without the bugs. Would stay here again.
