My family is huge, and we all grew up coming to SGI. This was our first trip as just the “kids,” and the house was perfect for what we needed — seven twenty-somethings looking for an affordable beach weekend.Things to note:- The deck is bowing a bit, but part has been replaced, so it seems the owners are keeping up with it.- Some loose nails and missing wood on the railing — not ideal for little ones.Deck and stairs are very splintery, so shoes were a must.- The guest shower leaked across the floor, so we all used the master bath (fine for a short stay).- WiFi went out on day two, so we used a hotspot to stream the Miami/FSU game.Positives:-Perfect layout and price for a group trip.- A/C worked great.- Beautiful patio and a super short walk to the beach — huge plus!- Excellent location close to town and right on the water.- Newer laminate floors and labeled light switches were nice touches.Overall, it’s an older home that shows its age but has great charm and everything we needed — clean, comfortable, and in a prime spot. We’d definitely stay again for a relaxed, low-key beach trip!
