"I understand that this motel was recently renovated, which we appreciated! Front desk staff were super friendly. The whole process was seamless. Free breakfast included milk, coffee, cereal, bread and condiments. We usually stay in an Airbnb for skiing, but since the power was out at many establishments in the Pinecrest area, we chose this motel and would come back if we don’t happen to have an Airbnb lined up! Sonora is a convenient location to the snow that’s not actually in the snow. "

"We loved our stay at the Heritage Inn. The staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is located downtown in Old Sonora with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. "

"A welcoming stay in Sonora with nice touches to make the place warm and inviting. Radim and Rob were great hosts, showing the kids the garden and chick coup. The beds are very comfortable and shower is nice. Good heating and we appreciated that they have an EV charger. 10/10 would recommend."

"Clean room, comfy beds, pool and hot tub are amazing (even in winter months), the breakfast is complete and very well serviced. What an excellent location, so close to so many good food options and so close to the road up to Dodge Ridge for skiing and snow play. Can’t beat the price for a well maintained hotel on a quick getaway."

"I really can't say enough about this property. The location is perfect, right on Washington Street, the main thoroughfare in Sonora. The entire town is walkable from here. The property itself is maintained in excellent condition - especially considering that it's well over 100 years old. The bedroom at the rear of the unit is quiet and comfortable. The bathroom fixtures are modern and work well. The full kitchen too has been updated and is in top shape. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered and seen to. Freshly roasted coffee from a local roaster provided, an excellent selection of teas, bottled water, a basket of small snacks. Numerous candles for a gentle, historic ambiance. We loved the front porch overlooking the street - with lanterns and "twinkly lights" on an automatic timer. Yes, there is a little street noise in the front room during the day. However, like most of the Motherlode towns, the sidewalks are rolled up about 8 PM and the evenings are quiet and enjoyable. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning as well."
