Not what was expected :(
The place was off the beaten path, but that is our fault for not realizing how unaccessible things are from this location without car. Everything else about the stay was pretty unacceptable for a rental. There is a noticeable odor as soon as you walk into the villa, and flies in every room. All plates and utensils had black gunk on them, and all of the drawers and cabinets were unorganized and cluttered with old clothes and used products.
We spent the first night disinfecting everything and reorganizing. We had several other issues including: tv remotes did not work, little to no hot water, the last day there was no water at all, the fridge did not work very well, and there was little propane for the oven or the bbq. There were two other propane tanks that we tried to use but they were empty as well. The property manager on the island was extremely nice and understanding and tried to be as helpful as possible. She fixed issues within her ability quickly. The owner however, was difficult to get in touch with, and once we were able to talk to him he was extremely defensive and not understanding.
From our understanding this villa is under new ownership, but as things are now we would NOT recommend this place to anyone!
