“I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. I had to advocate for myself and explain that I had a valid confirmation number and nowhere else to go. To……

“We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, the owner and onsite property manager were lovely to deal with and accomodated us. We were given clean sheets and 2 towels and the bed was made. It was comfortable, the pullout divan was stained and not comfortable, those things typically are not. The place had not been cleaned and there was no handsoap and little toilet paper. The outside area was very nice, the inside area is like a very rustic old north american cottage. Very old gas……

“The room was clean. However it was advertised tbat there was tea/coffee available- there was not. Also basic items were missing -- no shampoo, no hairdryer, no kleenex. Only sheets on bed. Air conditioning in bedroom only.”

“The location is perfect for a quiet relaxing vacation. The property is amazing. Rooms very spacious, and the balcony views incredible. Loved the free shuttle to the beach and into town. The manager at Castleview restaurant was warm professional, friendly and an asset to Wyndham Grand. Brandon you made our stay wonderful. I originally planned to stay two nights but realized that it was just not for me - ( I had originally came from the popular tourist area and needed to backfill two nights ) although they realized it was just not my style both hosts went above and beyond to accommodate me as much as possible and even worked to get me a refund for the next night - the place is lovely and quiet and perfect for anyone looking for just that! ”

“The manor house common areas are decorated artfully and the seating is comfortable. The pool is made to look like a grotto and is very pleasant, especially when the frogs start to sing. Strolling the grounds is a treat and the peacocks are quite entertaining. The dining is excellent and I had shrimp each day in different dishes. The chef cooks it perfectly! ”
