「Upon entering Maison 79 we immediately felt at home. The spacious house had plenty of room for us to spread out and was furnished in a way that felt comfortable and cozy. The setting was very quiet and secluded, yet still close to town. And the host was very gracious and quick to respond to questions. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and wouldn't hesitate to book again!」

「We had a phenomenal stay! The house was beautiful, spacious, had AC units in every room, close to town, great pool and views. Felt safe for our group of women and was nice to know Claudette the house manager was close by. The hill to the house is intimidating at first but we got use to it really quick. We didn't really use the kitchen but noticed it was stocked well. Also appreciated the welcome gift with snacks! Perfect after a long day of travel.」

「The views of the Pitons and Soufrière are gorgeous from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed. We enjoyed the open concept house. While important areas are private, it gives an inviting place to spend time with friends or family or lounge in the open area and take in the views. It’s a little tricky to get there due to the nature of the roads. We had a little problem with a standard SUV but a 4x4 should have no problem. Walking distance to Treetop restaurant which was our favorite...

「The Purple cottage was a fantastic stay for our family! We didn’t want some fancy pants resort. We wanted to feel like locals and experience the island for its beauty and cuisine and we got all of that staying here! The door entry was easy and made it functional for our whole family. Yes there were mosquitos, but honestly there are mosquitoes all over the island. Bring bug spray if you’re worried! Purple cottage provided plenty of citronella if you wanted to sit outside on the porch…but why...

"I truly enjoyed the cocoa tea served at breakfast, and most of the staff were warm, friendly, and courteous. When I checked in, they kindly explained how to get to Baywalk Shopping Mall and introduced the hotel’s facilities. Even when I was waiting for a taxi early in the morning at 5:00 a.m. on my departure day, they thoughtfully took the time to recommend beautiful beaches in Soufrière and a bakery well worth visiting."
