1. Photography and Presentation: The photos of our villa were professionally taken under direct sunlight and during a staged photoshoot. While the villa appears pristine in these images, it has been a beloved home to many satisfied, returning guests.
2. Condition of the Villa: Guests should note that the villa, while well-maintained, is not in brand-new showroom condition. Some minimal wear and tear from regular use and occupancy are to be expected.
3. Windows and Airflow: The villa has shutter windows typical of island properties. These are not completely airtight, reflecting the open-air lifestyle of Curacao.
4. Tropical Living and Wildlife: Living on a tropical island like Curacao means embracing the outdoors, including local wildlife such as iguanas, mosquitoes, and other insects. Air conditioning is provided only in the bedrooms.
5. Ongoing Maintenance and Updates: Over time, items in the villa may be replaced with comparable alternatives. While we strive to keep our photos updated, some minimal discrepancies may exist.
6. Utilities: Essential services like electricity, water, internet, and sewage are maintained by third-party providers. The respective companies will address any issues with these services as quickly as possible, and the host cannot be held responsible for interruptions.
7. Pool and Garden Maintenance: Regular maintenance of the pool and garden is essential for a pleasant stay and is conducted weekly and monthly, respectively. Due to logistical constraints, these maintenance activities may occur during your stay.
8. Security at Coral Estate Resort: The villa is located in the guarded Coral Estate Resort, known for its security and safety. However, as with any community, the resort is accessed by numerous individuals, and the host cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings or for any damage due to flooding, natural disasters, or other unforeseen events.
9. Air Conditioning Usage: Air conditioning is complimentary from 7 PM to 10 AM. Additional usage is available at an extra charge of $50 per day, allowing flexibility in usage according to guest preferences.
10. Basic Supplies: The villa has essential supplies for the first 24 hours, including toilet paper, garbage bags, tea, coffee, sugar, hand soap, and dishwashing soap. Guests are responsible for purchasing additional supplies as needed during their stay.
