We really appreciated being picked up at the airport after a long journey. The neighbourhood was quiet and beautiful. Jan and Wendy are very friendly and were very helpful. Loved the hanging chair on the front porch and the pool area is lovely! The property is very close to some great beaches (bring bug spray and beach shoes—they’re a necessity at every beach in Curaçao!). The house had some challenges but we have confidence that Jan and Wendy will try to work on them (they were very receptive to feedback). The kitchen had very limited space to put groceries. The microwave and TV did not work. One of the bedrooms did not have a closet or a dresser so clothing storage for two weeks was problematic. Two of the burners on the stove had to be lit with matches. The fridge was large so we were able to store most of our food in there. We were charged for propane for the BBQ which is something we had never experienced before at all the other rental properties we’ve stayed at. In summary, the location was great, the owners were very friendly, the property is fine and will be even better once they sort through the minor ‘kinks’. We had a great time in Curaçao!

A lovely experience

The house was exactly as presented. In fact, the photos they post don't really do it justice. The view of the ocean is much nicer than could be seen in the photo. Wendy, her husband Jan and Jonathan their son are all excellent hosts and are extremely responsive to any questions or issues that may arise. The house is located in Coral Estate which is a very nice gated community. The resort area of Coral Estate is very nice, with a great beach area, excellent snorkeling and very good food. Our check-in was seamless as Wendy and Jonathan were waiting for us when we arrived. The house had excellent living space and a kitchen that was better equipped than many other places we have stayed. We enjoyed long evenings on the front porch watching sunsets and eating dinner at the large table. The neighborhood iguanas paid daily visits. We definitely plan to come back to Curacao and we definitely plan to stay at Wendy's place again. My only caution is to bring lots of bug repellant. The mosquitos were fairly thick and hungry.

Top Place for relaxing holiday

Great Endeavour by Wendy and Jan: - Transfer Airport - House - provision of their own rental car - direct and simple communication during our stay - quiet location of the House at the top position in the resort - awesome tour guided by Wendy and Jan to show us beautiful sites far away from tourist areas - quiet and clean resort with nice coffee bar and beach in general: fabulous holiday for us
