"The Candy House" as my son called it was SO MUCH FUN for our long weekend getaway before school starting in August 2022. The decor and themed rooms were so well done, even though Angelina explained the house wasn't 100% complete. Speaking of Angelina- she is SO nice and responsive and will provide all the info you need before and during your stay! For those visiting with doggos- I was nervous ours would get ahold of some of the decor, but there isn't a lot sitting around at their level, just in case you're concerned! There is a utility room that leads to the back door/back yard, which is nice to wipe their feet off, and we even put their pop up crate in there when we left the house, which made me feel much more secure. The ONLY issue we had was that the backyard wasn't completely sodded when we stayed, and with Florida summer storms, created lots of muddy paw prints, but once the backyard is all finished, this should be less of an issue. We still loved the pool and the mini-golf area is so cute! If you want to have a fire, bring some wood for the fire pit! The house was very clean and had lots of great extras (pool floats/games, condiments in the fridge, toiletries, and of course, the famous candy wall!). Safety Harbor is a great location too- close to Tampa and close to beaches, and downtown has SO many cute places to eat! This was the perfect spot for us, even though we didn't even use 2 of the bedrooms. It would be a wonderful girl's weekend or small family place for sure! We definitely cannot wait to return! Thank you Angelina for all the time and thoughtfulness you put into the house and making sure our stay was comfortable- we had so much fun and my son thinks it's the coolest VRBO we've ever stayed in! :)
