Tradewinds

At Bluegreen Tradewinds we stayed in the ownership building on the beach. The grounds were beautiful, great location but the rooms were small and VRBO decieved us on their listing. We had to move rooms in the middle of our stay and there was no kitchen or living area it was basically a one room hotel room.

Nice facility but not clean and outdated

We did not realize this property was a time share. We had to move rooms during our stay and the rooms were not clean. The resort has a lot for kids to do but needs some updating. Pools were dirty, mold outside. The slide was great, paddle boating was great, beach great. Just needs some updates for the price we paid.

The property was beautiful, and the trade when staff were very nice and accommodating.

However, renting through VRBO May not be the way to go. I rented for seven days, and when I got there they told me they could only guarantee me three. I ended up able to stay the seven days but had to move two times. Which means checking out at 11 and not being able to get into my new room. until after four. It was a huge hassle.

The room was perfect for our needs!

We really only the needed the room to sleep as we wanted to make use of all the great amenities on the property and be at the beach! The size was good and nice to have the fridge, microwave and coffee pot so we could have a few things in the room.

St Pete Beach location

Great location with lots of places to eat at on and off the property. Do the bar crawl and get a free t-shirt. Not daily room service - but you can get extra supplies easily. Book your cabana the day before and it’s all set up for you. Great beach and gorgeous water. Supermarket nearby. Parking free for one car. Bounce house water slide is awesome even for adults. We checked in a few hours early and got our room right away - but that’s not guaranteed.

Worst experience I’ve had to date.

I wouldnt book this property. Seems like there's to many middle man in this process. Quick summary, - My name wasn’t put in the reservation in the room. - Spent 4+ hours outside the hotel calling vrbo, rental manager and talking to the hotel. - No one could get my name in to get my reservation that I payed for. -There was a lack of communication and professionalism in this process. - it’s been 2 weeks since this occurred and I still haven’t received my refund from vrbo. We were not happy with the outcome of this booking. I hope this helps the next person who thinks about booking this place and I hope the owner/rental management can also better their process for future clients.
