Covered by large oak trees, over 200 years old, this fully furnished 3-bedroom home is sure to delight any guest! You will enjoy the serenity this home offers under the old oak trees on a quiet corner lot.

Enjoy fresh beachy air, beautiful scenery and sounds of the birds singing while sipping your morning coffee on either of the wide screen porches. Although you might not plan to spend much time inside with all the beauty that St. Simons offers; if you do you will not be disappointed! This charming cottage was been completely renovated. Options for entertaining at this home are endless, with a dining table built for 14.

The lower level offers a spacious kitchen, dining and living area in addition to 3 bedrooms that will share a bathroom.

On the second level you wind find a bonus space with additional sleeping area with 3 twin beds plus trundles and a full bathroom with walk-in shower.

Fabulous new outdoor area with fire pit makes the cooler evenings even more enjoyable.

Pets are welcome with a $150 non refundable pet fee.

4th year renting this lovely home

I think the title says it all! Great location and enjoy the property improvements that the owners have made. had an issue with the on-demand hot water heater and contacted the property manager. They sent someone out so quickly, they arrived before I could call back and say I could the issue - a breaker switch had popped. Point being - very responsive!

A GREAT FAMILY VISIT!!!!

Came to St. Simons to celebrate my daughters birthday as a family. Spent almost all our time at beach, beautiful park full with trees a block away from house or on one of the most relaxing front porches we have ever been on. It was perfect family time. House was great and fit our needs perfectly. The huge dining room table with the rope lighting over it and numerous windows to look out of was awesome. We are walkers and bike riders when we are on vacation and this house is perfectly located for us to enjoy both and take in all that St. Simons has to offer. Lastly, Hodnett Cooper Vacation Rentals, INC. were great to work with leading up to our stay and during. Very attentive and just nice people to work with. We look forward to our next trip to St. Simons!

Second time renting

Love the location - so much that it was the second time to rent this home. Very comfortable, lots of time spent on screened porch. Love the fire pit addition - spend lots of time there - built a fire on several nights. Will definitely rent again.

I would love to buy this house!

Cutest house. So beachy and newly renovated. One street away from shopping in cute downtown Saint Simons. Would love to buy it. Would rent again! There were 10 of us in it and it was perfect! Great long weekend!

Great Location

This was our first trip to St. Simons Island. The house location was amazing!n we walked almost everywhere and enjoyed the local restaurants. We spent a lot of time on the front porch. We can’t wait to visit again!

Fun times in SS

The location of the house was awesome. You could walk to downtown for drinks, food, etc...Also, close to beach. Recommend you bring extra basic items- trash bag, toilet paper, dishwasher tab, paper towels. (Only given 1 basic) Suggest you take a pic of your house code as it was not provided on any emails or checkins. Only stated on piece of paper given when you checked in.

Overall a good place to stay

My husband and I, along with our dog, stayed 4 nights in November at this rental. Overall, it was a good experience. The location is very walkable to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The house itself isn’t huge, but it can accommodate a lot of people with 3 bedrooms on the main level, a loft upstairs, 2 full baths, and a very large sectional couch and dining table. Screened and covered front and back decks are comfortable to hang out. The yard is not fenced, but walking our dog in the neighborhood was easy, and there are a few parks very close by. The house is older and has been renovated, and there are some quirks that come along with that (lack of ventilation in bathroom, flooring thresholds between rooms that are easy to trip over, etc.), but the location and updated kitchen overcome those quirks.

Nice location and adequate space

We loved being able to walk into town, the pier, being close to town was a plus! I do wish there was a golf cart included, that would be really nice and helpful for getting around as well. The management company did end up helping out, but this house was very limited on necessities! 1 trash bag, 2 small rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, no sugar, no oil... no chairs, umbrellas, etc.. just be prepared to really bring everything you need. When the company did come by to drop some needed items off and change the air filter, they were very kind. And upon check-in you receive a call to make sure all is well.

Great location

Location was perfect, spacious home. Well done upgrades to a charming 1920’s home. New washer/dryer and other appliances. Very nice gas stove. A/C worked well downstairs and upstairs keeping temps perfect. Loved the front porch and sat on it mornings and w - and a rainy day. Bathrooms up and downstairs well done. Huge table more than accommodated our for dining and card-playing. Lots of parking - very nice. Loved riding our bikes in the neighborhood(s). Was disappointed in cleanliness upon arrival, however. Porches were not clean- needed pressure washed to remove built-up grime. Porch floor needed mopped. (Same goes for back porch). Trundle bed sheets not changed. Found stained sheets on two of them and a child's shirt had been left on one, so its clear they were ignored. No broom or vacuum cleaner in the house, so keeping floors tidy and sand-free during our stay was not possible. Home was lacking some key elements- no door mat at back door, no way to hang clothes in laundry area to dry them, bedrooms could use mirrors- especially since all 3 on main shared the 1 bath. Kitchen needed a few more key things- a big stock pot to boil spaghetti in, for example. Would I rent it again? Probably, because the location was just so perfect and for all the positives stated above, but would also look for alternative homes and decide at that time.

Nice Historic Bungalow In Heart of SSI

-Great location to lighthouse, village, and beaches; walkable to everything -Fun historic house with some nice upgrades and setup -Front Porch lounging is the best - esp with a Mint Julep lol -Neighbors and locals are a blast -Would recommend 3 things: 1. Some lighting fixtures aren’t working (old house, it happens), 2. Could tell the cleaning was done well before our visit so front porch was waaay dirty and upstairs needed some sweep-up - pretty minor stuff, 3. Pls add a firepit to the mix - it’s a perfect setup for that (we brought a portable one) -Overall great property on lovely SSI - 4.8/5!

Beautiful home, perfect location!

Our group of friends had an incredible stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and so charming. We could not get over the beautiful oaks with moss all up and down the street and the park just a few blocks behind the house. Just a few blocks to the beach or local shops & restaurants. We had tons of space in the house and the mattresses are SO comfortable (maybe Tempurpedic? This was a big bonus for us that we weren't expecting). Plenty of space for our whole group and lots of areas inside the house and on the porch to hang out all together. We would absolutely stay here again. The location could not be more perfect. We rented a golf cart, but in warmer weather, would have walked everywhere. This house had everything we were looking for, was extremely clean and well kept. Highly recommend!

Nice neighborhood bungalow

We enjoyed our stay......house was cute. It could have used another bathroom on the main floor but not too bad. Nice loft with a bathroom if you have children that can all stay together. The location was great within walking distance to shopping & restaurants. We loved that it was an authentic bungalow with the amenities of new construction.

Great location!

This is a super cute house in a perfect location. TV situation is a little difficult as they dont have anything like cable so you need to use your own streaming services. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect. You can walk to dinner or the pier and village easily. We will definitely be back!

Great Long Weekend

The house is absolutely adorable and well-stocked and in the perfect location close to the village and the beach. We all loved the decor which was not overdone but just enough to make the place feel welcoming. I only wish they had left Swiffer pads because we would have cleaned the house along the way. We rented golf carts and explored St. Simon. We'd definitely come back and select this super cute house again.
