Never got to stay here due to an injury that my husband suffered. Dr. told us go home right away. In excitement forgot to cancel thiscreservation. Added expedia insurance coverage a joke!! Insurance asking fir ketter from hotel and expedia before I can proceed. No one contacting me back from hotel and expedia site only sends me to insurance company!!!

Booked a city view room…it faced the hotel parking lot and the back of the mall (4th floor). The room was clean, I did not use housekeeping. The hotel for the most part was clean despite stains on the outside couches that face the harbor. Breakfast was not good at all. I took a few boxes of cereal. When checking in the young ladies who worked mornings were nice and polite. The young ladies who worked afternoon/evenings were not as welcoming. I notice non black guests were tended to more and greeted immediately when leaving and exiting the hotel. Myself…not so much, unless I spoke first. If you need a taxi I recommend walking to the entrance of the outside mall/plaza which is directly across the street. The hotel will recommend you call redcap/redcab (I forgot the name) and they charge 3x the amount then the locals. I paid $11 one way to the airport compared to $30 with their recommendation. Also the hotel sells snacks for outrageous prices. On the last day of my visit I found out there is a market in the plaza across the street. They asked me did the hotel give me a flyer to visit them (they did not)…apparently the hotel promised the locals they would support them when they opened but it appears they have not kept their end of the deal. This was a last minute trip so I booked here but if you have more time to search, look elsewhere.

The front desk staff on check in tried to charge us when we had bought a package through Expedia. She was not kind our compassionate nor did she foster any connection to us at check in. We alerted the front desk about fecal material in the pool and on the pool deck. The poop on the pool deck could be clearly seen from our hotel window and in spite of alerting the front desk staff both by phone and direct conversation at front desk it remained on pool deck until our check out. Our room did not get cleaned the one day we asked for it to be in spite of the day bring in line with the eod policy. When we asked the next day - we got fresh towels and made beds but the conditioner and hand soap dispensers were not refilled and remained empty. The hotel location is good. However rest staffing with individuals that like people would be a good start. Additionally work ethic for cleaning and hygiene would be good

Do NOT plan to arrive early to this hotel or be treated kindly. We arrived around 3:00 pm knowing that check in is at 4 pm, but most hotels can accommodate an early check in if the rooms are ready. We explained that we would like to check in so we could freshen up prior to our 4:30 pm cab pickup and dinner reservation at 5 pm. The front desk person didn’t even look at her computer and told us check in is at 4. When 4:00 arrived so did the line of people. We had to change our reservation and cab pick up as we did not get into our room until 4:45. The hotel is pretty much brand new, clean, comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is nice.

Clean room, attentive staff. The only thing i frowned upon was the breakfast food because everything, from the eggs to the bacon to the waffles tasted like fish. Perhaps the cooking oil used was previously used in cooking fish. Overall, I would 100% recommend this place to stay. It’s also economically friendly.

Don’t desk very helpful and friendly. Breakfast area needs additional garbage area as the one they had filled quite quickly. People didn’t know where to put their used plates or garbage.
