You and your crew will enjoy 4 bedrooms (each with king size beds and ceiling fans), 2 full baths, and spacious great room (kitchen, dining, living). The lower level of the home offers a separate unit with its own access (one bedroom suite, 3 piece bathroom, kitchenette and living area. This unit is offered for an additional charge and only available in conjunction with the main home rental. Guests will have access to another unit on the lower level which provides a pool table & laundry, beach floats and toys as well as corn hole and ring toss. Situated on southwestern tip of Water Island. Spectacular sunrise and sunset views overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Come on down!
Located at the end of Flamingo Point Road, surrounded on 3 sides by the Caribbean Sea, on ~1 acre of property. The home is well off the road, very private and no drive-by traffic. On Flamingo Point you will hear only the sounds of nature and the waves crashing against the rocks below. Our property offers a large grassy area and plenty of space to park/turn around - highly unique feature than other island properties - and lots of room to play outside. There is an outdoor shower on the lower level. Expansive views of the sunsets, St. Croix ~45 miles to the south, Vieques/Culebra/Puerto Rico to the west, and the lights of St. Thomas to the west and northwest.
Our home is a few minutes from the beautiful Honeymoon Beach, Fort Segarro, and Phillips Landing (the landing spot for guests, local residents and others who disembark from the ~8 minute ferry ride to/from St. Thomas and Water Island). Water Island is a walkable island however, guests will need to rent a golf cart (or two, depending on the number of people in your crew) for transportation to/from ferry landing, beach, house, and the 2 restaurants located on Water Island. Rachael's Golf Cart Rentals is located on Water Island. Recommend you reserve your golf cart transportation well in advance of your arrival.
Flamingo Point USVI will accommodate up to 8 persons in the main home. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have direct access to the porch via sliding glass doors. All bedrooms' windows and doors provide views of nature and sea. Each bedroom has king size bed, ceiling fans, linens (2 beach towels, 2 sets of bath/wash cloth/hand towels). King size pillows are hypoallergenic. Bed linens are a minimum 400 threadcount. In conjunction with the main home and for an additional charge, we can offer an additional private 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom and living area suite on the lower level with completely separate entrance that will accommodate 2 additional persons.
We love to cook so you will find our kitchen is loaded with tools and amenities to satisfy most every chef. High quality knives, Moccamaster by Technivorm coffemaker, a burr type coffee grinder, Keurig coffee maker, food processor, mix master, slow cooker, plenty of dinnerware, utensils and much more. Extra Large stainless steel refrigerator (French doors with water and ice dispenser on the front opens to spacious refrigeration and well lighted, a flex space designed to keep your beverages at just the right temperature) , and chest freezer. Gas grill on the deck where you will be grilling while looking out over the Caribbean Sea. Large dining room table inside as well as outside that can seat comfortably 8-10 people easily. All water is potable by flowing through a state of the art multiple filtering and Sanitron Ultra-violet system.
The great room (kitchen, dining and living area) is spacious with lots of comfortable seating. You'll find electronic entertainment that addresses the needs of the whole family: 65" High Definition TV, DISH satellite programming, Wifi Internet, and DVD player.
