Awesome stay

Sarah was very accommodating from start to finish. This place was amazing. The location is peaceful and everything was just perfect. Just make sure to grocery shop to enjoy family meals together not many restaurants nearby but the ones she recommended are awesome.

Incredible Stay

I can't believe how wonderful this stay was. I would definitely do so again. I was there with coworkers and the 3 separate bedrooms with 3 separate bathrooms worked perfectly. It's much better than staying in 3 separate expensive hotel rooms. The location was wonderful and a 5-minute walk to the best shrimp tacos on the island (the Shack). We couldn't have been happier and I'm hoping I have to come back soon.

Great experience and property

We really loved Villa Tryst and the Hull Bay area. The house was everything described and the host and team were extremely easy to work with and responsive. We liked the unique layout and the open feel it gives while having all the amenities. Everything is updated and the beds were comfortable. We will be considering this again for our next trip to St Thomas!

2 weeks in Caribbean paradise!

Sarah was great in communicating and was very helpful in giving us options for island activities and enjoyment. This wonderful villa overlooks Hull Bay and some small islands. The view, the breeze, and the sounds of the crashing waves made our outdoor meals on the veranda one of the highlights of our stay.The quick walk to the beach, albeit steep, was a plus for our family. We had a few delicious meals at The Shack (a restaurant/bar located directly across from the beach) and could walk back to the villa easily.The air conditioning in each of the rooms was a "life saver" for us who come from colder climates.The pool right off the veranda was a joy for us to be able to plunge in any time we wanted.The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked.Thanks for a great vacation!

Wonderful vacation in paradise

We just returned from a fabulous week at Villa Tryst! The villa is exactly as pictured on the website. It’s a lovely home in a great location with beautiful views of the water, a short 5 minute walk to Hull Bay Beach, and close to town. Hull Bay is a nice beach with several restaurants and bars. The home is clean and fully equipped with decent Wi-Fi so I was able to work remotely. The owner was extremely responsive and very helpful at making referrals to local vendors. Beautiful sunsets, great snorkeling, and 80 degree sunny days. The perfect family vacation or romantic getaway. We were sad to leave and will definitely return.

A Trip to Remember

Look no further! Villa Tryst has everything you need and more.: • the most incredible view that took our breath away • the best location within walking distance of a wonderful beach that isn’t too crowded, has a couple of restaurants and snorkeling … And it’s only a short drive to Magen’s Bay Beach rated one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. • a spacious layout with a completely separate and private owners’ suit … The other two bedrooms were also separate from one another, and all bedrooms conveniently had their own bathroom. • The home provides everything you need to make your stay comfortable and fun - beach chairs, a cooler, beach towels, coffee, a fully-stocked kitchen, games, easy parking, hairdryers, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, your own pool, and a patio where you will want to spend all of your time. And to top it off, you get Sarah who is so happy to answer all of your questions and make your visit to St. Thomas the best it can be! Villa Tryst was perfect for our family vacation with our three young adult sons. We made memories to last a lifetime. We were so sad to leave and hope to return soon!!

Hidden Gem

What an absolute gem! Villa Tryst was the perfect place for our family. Our teenage daughters had their own space after long days exploring or laying out on the beach. Sarah is an amazing host who makes sure all comforts of home are available to you. The location is absolutely unforgettable, looking over Hull Bay and the sunsets are so beautiful. My favorite were mornings on the deck drinking my coffee listening to the waves of the ocean. This is truly a hidden gem that I highly recommend!

A week at Hull Bay, St. Thomas

Beautiful villa overlooking Hull Bay. Short walk to Hull Beach. Lots of room for the six of us. Very accommodating and helpful owners. Helped us get to the villa from the airport when our car rental was delayed two hours upon arrival to the airport. Thanks for sharing your home with us!!

The photographs do not really do this gorgeous villa justice. This home is at once spectacular and comfortable. Each guest has complete privacy with bath and balcony ensuite. I was so happy in my bedroom it was hard to leave and join the crowd. The common living area was wonderful with all views to the sea. If you like to cook the kitchen's a dream!

Villa Tryst - Perfect Vacation Home!!!

If there is any place more perfect than Villa Tryst to get away to from the cold winter, I don’t know where it is. The blue sky, the warm temperatures, and the ocean breeze were a perfect piece of heaven. Having been fans of St. Thomas from three previous cruise stops there, our family wanted a change of pace – a chance to explore the island for a week rather than just for the day. Each morning, we awoke to a view of surfers, boaters, and fisherman, as well as pelicans and iguanas. Sitting on the peninsula facing west, gave us beautiful sunsets views, too. The house is lovely. It is comfortable and is very nicely decorated. We enjoyed the pool and cooking in the kitchen. We really felt as if we could relax and be at home here. Web was very helpful in picking us up at the airport, taking us to the grocery store, and in getting us snorkeling gear for the week. Our vacation couldn’t have been more perfect. We loved the house, the location and working both with Sarah and Web. We hope to return again in the future.

Very poor, less than one star

Upon my arrival to the unit from California, I found the place to be substandard in condition. Dirty couches, dead roaches and some were alive, 3 inched in length. Water from Kitchen sink stunk because it is from a tank. 3 Air condition was not working out of the 5. There is no windows to close and get a break from the heat and humidity, there is only shutters with very poor and deteriorated mechanisms, not fully functional. pool chemistry was off, my disabled daughter came out after the first jump with bloody red eyes and it lasted few hours. Worse of all, I talked to the owner and explained all of the above, my complaint was not considered. I left the next morning. I asked for a refund and never even got my security deposit back or even a phone call, now it has been close to 12 months since the booking. Bad place be.

Amazing stay with constant sound of waves

My husband and I are on island quite often and really enjoy bringing our friends to island. We needed a location that would provide a relaxing atmosphere and the beauty the island provides. While a hotel is nice, it doesn’t provide the same freedom and privacy a villa provides (and frankly there are still many hotels still dealing with the destruction from the hurricanes). We enjoy making our own meals and nibbling throughout the day; listening to music; sleeping in; cracking a beer; being with our people and feeling at home. We cannot recommend this location enough - We genuinely enjoyed it. The owners were very kind and accommodating - not intrusive at all. This was a beautiful spot to listen to the peaceful sounds of constant waves. Beautiful sunsets and peaceful mornings. As well as quick and easy access to Hull Bay, beach and the bar/restaurant. (Great bay for surfing). This location was perfect for three couples. The master suite was recently renovated and brings in a beautiful breeze. We did not put our air on even one time (February). The two guest rooms did end up using air but only at night for a cool sleep. Also considering this someone’s home and bills, we were also considerate to not run the air while we were gone all day. The deck provided shade to comfortably sit outside as well as plenty of space to sit in the sun. We had a full day that we took a break from our adventures to just sit and relax all day at the house. We really enjoyed just taking in the peaceful environment with our friends in a home type feel. PSA - If you’ve never stayed in the VI’s before (or any tropical location) please understand you’re going to have lizards, bugs, and even chickens running around. It’s an island... welcome to the island life. The rooms have netting around the beds as well for added comfort should you wish. We definitely recommend Villa Tryst to anyone looking for a great and relaxing island vacation. We’re looking forward to future stays!

This location is a Must Book.

Staying at Villa Tryst was a touch of luxury that was very relaxing. The views from the property are simply incredible (sunset and sunrise are beautiful from this location). Sarah was very accommodating and always provided timely and accurate responses to questions. We appreciated her suggestions on places to dine, sights to see and things to do while on St. Thomas. Overall, Sarah maintains a beautiful property in a great location; I hope I have the chance to stay here again soon.

Can't wait to get back to Villa Tryst

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Villy Tryst. The location is spectacular and the home is stunning. We spent most of our time on the porch with our coffee each morning as the surfers came out and our dinners in the evening with the gorgeous sunsets. Sarah was genuinely helpful with every aspect of our visit. You couldn't ask for a better hostess. My mother has a hard time with steps and Villa Tryst was perfect for her to get around and enjoy. There was only one step for her to navigate between the pool, her room, and the main house. Omar was our driver for dinners out. He took such great care of us. Webb helped us with our adventures paddleboarding and a jeep snorkel tour. Hull Bay Hideaway and The Shack were our go to for lunch. The BEST fish tacos and messy, delish burgers. We've already booked our return visit for November. And I'm sure there are many more stays ahead for our family. Thank you for sharing Villa Tryst with us.
