The Old Vicarage was a lovely place to stay during a work trip to Staffordshire. Our hosts were delightful and provided some really helpful suggestions about places to visit or eat. The cottage is well presented with plenty of space and - very excitingly - super fast fibre broadband, which was a huge plus. I'd heartily recommend the Old Vicarage.

This property has a real homely feel and makes you feel relaxed straight away. We were staying primarily to attend a family wedding but the house enabled us plenty of space to spread out relax and have a nice weekend break too. The beds were extremely comfy and the house was spotlessly clean. We would love to return at some stage. The hosts were friendly and helpful to show us around when we arrived, even down to having the log burner lit and welcoming!

Wow. This place is fantastic. Huge house, everything meticulous with decor, design and cleanliness. Beautiful setting with fields and sheep, and hens that gave us fresh eggs for breakfast 🍳. The owners Alan and Cathy are so accommodating and available for anything you might need, communication is excellent. We were only half hour away from Alton towers, just 15 minutes to a big tesco in Uttoxeter. We would love to stay here again 😍

Absolutely fabulous house! So many comfortable rooms to choose from! The log burners were super cosy for relaxing in front of. Very well equipped. Took a bit of getting used to the Aga but it was great! The grounds were super secure for our dog and the use of the adjacent field for exercise walks for him was a bonus. The hosts Alan and Cathy are such lovely people and always available should you need them. Happy eggs from their chickens was a lovely touch. I'm already looking forward to returning in September next year 😃
