Located 6 miles from the Swift Run Gap Entrance at Shenandoah National Park. This 3 bedroom 3 bath ridge side cabin feature valley views, multi level decks, and open concept kitchen and living area. Relax in the hot tub on the patio while others relax by the fire pit at the bottom of the hill. The downstairs offers a generous space for gathering while the main level with primary bedroom is a cozy space for those looking for relaxation while the upstairs features 2 bedroom and a full bath.

My friends and I had a fantastic time staying at the dancing bear. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. The host was also easy to get ahold of. There is a wonderful view from the cabin overlooking the valley below. Just make sure to bring a flashlight for the stairs leading to the firepit when going down there at night because they are unlit and one of my friends did trip when using them in the dark.

Weekend getaway in June

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! From before check-in to check-out, Carrie was extremely responsive and flexible. The cabin itself was tastefully decorated and had amazing views. We had 6 in our group (four adults and two teenagers); we were all very comfortable and had all we needed for our two-night stay. We would definitely stay here again if our travels brought us back to this area.
