“We had a beautiful snowstorm for the weekend. The cottage is cozy and warm. The view is beautiful with a tranquil, peaceful setting. It is close to town. ”

“Overall it was a wonderful experience at the location. We were surprised it did not have air conditioning because the first day we arrived, it was hot and humid. Luckily the owner had fans available for us to use. The weather cooled down and everything else was great! ”

“Cute place, rustic. 2 double beds so make sure you like who you share with :) Location is amazing, 25 feet to the private dock and lake. Had everything we needed for 5 days. No a/c but has ceiling fans. A free public boat launch is 1/4 mile down the road making it easy in and out.”

“The property was beautiful! Cozy and had everything we needed right there. Lake was less than 5 minute walk from the cabin. Deer came right up to the property. Will definitely be back- perfect for couples. ”

The walk down to the dock is magical, and we loved taking the canoe around the lake. “This cottage is HUGE with plenty of room for large families that want to make priceless memories in the north woods during a Wisconsin summer. Great balance of nostalgia with AMAZING amenities such as; WiFi, cable tv, smart AC and keyless lock access. Caught a bunch of perch, pumpkinseed and rock bass fish off the docks. Good drop off for walleye and musky about 40 yards from the dock. Great location that is a short distance to everything in the Eagle River community. Plus! onsite: Kayaking,……

“Stayed at this rental with my sister for a getaway weekend. The house had everything we needed and owner Neil is very responsive to questions. Spent time on the lake in the kayaks. Beautiful and quiet lake. Thanks for a great weekend stay!”

“The cabin is very clean and the kitchen has all the utensils you need. We cook breakfast evry day without a problem. I slept on the large bed and it was very comfortable. One morning I had 2 very large bald eagles fly about 30 feet over our cabin. They have a nest right behind the cabin. Great location right on Big St Germain lake, almost right in between Eagle River and Minocqua.”

“Road’s End Retreat was very comfortable for me and my family both inside the house and out. It was tight for our group of 7 plus 2 dogs, but doable even for such a large group. Sunsets on the lake were gorgeous, and we enjoyed the 5 Kayaks plus rowboat that they had. We loved that all 7 of us could go out on the lake at the same time. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!”

“The cabin was nicely renovated and had everything we needed! It was nice that kayaks and paddle boards were provided so that we didn’t have to bring ours. It is is just a short little walk up the hill from the beach. We will definitely be coming back.”

“What a wonderful stay we had! We seen lots of action right off the pier by the cabin and caught bass, perch, crappie, bluegill, pumpkinseed and 1 northern latched onto my crappie! 2-in-1 !!! Beds were comfortable, all amenities were as described! We felt totally at home and relaxed! Cabin was clean and very roomy! Went to area restaurants and sights all nearby three lakes!”

“Heidi was a great host. The cottage was cozy and had all the amemities we needed. We brought our boat and had fun exploring the chain lakes. Eagle River was close for shopping. We definitely enjoyed our stay and we will stay again. ”
