Steamboat Ski Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is perfect for a family with lots of space. You are just a minute walk from the gondola. It was a picture perfect spot and vacation.

Fun lil condo

I brought my wife and two younger kids.(7and9). Nice location, 5 min walk to rental or base of hill. Super easy, parking was awesome, plenty of room for our Yukon with Thule. Only downfall was no pool for the kids, other than that it’s a great location to skip the busy crowds.

Summer Fun

We enjoyed Steamboat for a quick couple days during mid July. The property is close to many facilities around the ski mountain. Also super easy to get to the bus route for access to downtown. The property was very nice and clean.

Great location, well stocked

The condo is larger than it appears in the photos. Every detail was thought of - we had everything we needed in the kitchen, we used the complimentary shuttle with ease. The on-site lockers were great. Perfect trip all around.The only thing to note is the two bathrooms are upstairs and inside bedrooms, so no guest bathroom. Also, the top floor shower does not get hot - the middle floor bathroom is great though.

Not ski in ski out

Home was clean and just as it is represented in pictures. The property manager was very accommodating and did best she could from the phone as property manager is not accessible in person. Parking signs are difficult as when the lot if covered in snow it is impossible to understand the location of the assigned parking. I would suggest a sign post placed in front of the tree vs only the sign on the building. Apparently it angered the locals to make an error in parking. Was close to lift but definitely NOT ski in/ski out. Would also help to have map of mountain that highlights which lift is nearby, when it opens, map of the 'village' where you can rent skis or have meal, maybe some sample menus of the suggested restaurants. Overall it was good, but in my opinion, overpriced. The views out the windows imply you are looking at the mountain, the actual layout is that you are looking at a road that is disguised through the trees.

Feb Steamboat, 2024

The location was great, about 100 yards from the lift. The room was clean and well kept. The floor plan was unusual in that it involves 3 levels (4 if you count the ski locker and building entrance), with the kitchen, small picnic table type dining and living room on one level, then the master bedroom on one level higher, and then above that, double bed and bunk bed rooms with shared bath on the top level. Skis are kept in a locker on the ground level, where you walk out towards the lifts. The 4 big screen TVs were nice. All was good except the top level shower was essentially unusable, since the water pressure was EXTREMELY LOW, and the water temp was barely above room temp. The management staff did their best to help with any concerns but it seems the upstairs shower would require a new plumbing design and is unfixable for now. The mid level shower was nice and warm with good water pressure. It seemed a bit pricey overall.
