Beautiful property!

We visited Steamboat Spring for the first time. The studio we rented was beautiful. Great access to the slopes. It was very loud during the mornings with people walking in ski boots but other than that it was perfect. We will visit Steamboat again.

Great place, a little noisy

This unit was amazing, Bath robes were included, fully stocked kitchen with all utensils and pans that you need. The bed is super comfortable (medium firmness). The building is pretty old though so we did have issues with the people above us making a lot of noise. However we were able to call security and they took care of it immediately. The heated garage under the condos was the best thing ever and super secure. It is a true ski in ski out with a trail that goes right up to the door. The staff is very attentive and very helpful. You also can shuttle for free anywhere in town which is nice. The hot tub was surprisingly not crowded at all. we will definitely stay at this property again, despite the noise issues.

Ptarmigan House Unit 24

The unit was very nice. The furniture was decent, and the bed was comfortable, but the kitchen utensils and cookware were not acceptable. There were very minimal glasses; pretty much juice glasses and two plastic Vacasa cups. The teflon coating on the pots and pans was peeling, which is a health hazard. There were no baking sheets to use in the oven. The location is good. It’s close to the base of the ski mountain/gondola. The hot is nice.

Wonderful stay

This studio has everything you need to have a comfortable stay! Cozy fireplace, comfy bed. kitchenette that was pretty well stocked. Theres a simple grocery store/restaurant down the street to buy essentials. Washer dryer downstairs. Walk/ski about 2 min to ski lift. Storage area downstairs for your ski gear. The shuttle was really convenient and we never had to wait more than 10 min for it. There weren't a ton of blankets but the unit can be kept warm enough with the fireplace.

Great location, updated condo, unfortunately the hot tub was NOT open! Very disappointed I stayed at other resorts and hot tubs where all open!!!! It should be up to the guest if they want to “risk “ hot tubs due to Covid.

Ptarmigan House

We've been staying at the Ptarmigan House in Steamboat Springs on and off for over 20 years. We love it, our favorite place in Steamboat, but with the new costs associated with it being a VRBO it is unlikely we'll be using it in the future.

Awesome studio

This newly remodeled studio was perfect! Very well kept, awesome location, and it had everything you would need for a weekend away. The only downside was the bed and pillows weren't all that comfortable. Overall though, great spot!

Wonderful unit and perfect location!

This unit was perfect for my husband, daughter and I's recent ski trip! Everything was clean, had plenty of space, ski-in, close to restaurants, shopping, bars, and the shuttle downtown was super convenient! Ptarmigan Condos (Unit 24)

What a great little condo and the location is incredible. You are steps away from the slopes and underground parking is a bonus. This wasn't our first stay at Ptarmigan Condos and it won't be our last. A+
