Nice slopeside condo

Cozy little condo, perfect for a family of four. The amenities were a plus as well, We took advantage of the free shuttle back-and-forth to Main Street. The staff at the front desk couldn’t have been more friendly. The hot tub was perfect after a long day on the mountain.

Fantastic Trip!

Very convenient location with all of the necessities. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the main base area within a few hundred feet of the building. A true ski in and out with ease. The building staff were lovely and quick to help with anything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Great location - dated amenities

Proximity to Gondola was great and kitchen was well stocked. However, carpet is threadbare and overall decor has not been updated. Also the insulation to the apartment above is thin in that you can hear people walking and talking.

Clean place, close to the gondola

The condo was nice on the inside and had a good view looking towards the gondola. You are able to ski in to the condo, but not a ski out scenario. The king size bed in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. if the bed and pillows were updated, we would stay here again.

More Towels Needed

Unit was great. Needs more towels. Initially only had one wash cloth. Was given 3 more for 7 day trip with three people. Had a total of 4 bath towels for the week also. Was told we would be charged if we wanted a refresh. Such an easy thing to ensure and to get five stars.

Nice, quiet, spacious, clean

We enjoyed our stay in #10. It was very clean, tidy, and spacious. The parking lot was not the best view but we didn't spend a great deal of time inside during the day so that wasn't a big deal. It was not as ski-in/ski-out as I was expecting. It was still a bit of a walk while lugging my skis. The snow on the short pathway to the slopes had melted so it was a short muddy walk to where you could put your skis on and ski to the gondola (super close.) The king bed was firmer than my bed at home. The two queen beds were fine. Plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, etc. It was nicely stocked - dishes, coffee, etc. Front desk was helpful. Overall a nice place.

Location Location Location.

The room was just fine. You could do so much worse. All useful amenities, we didn't need anything that wasn't provided. For us lowlanders, we especially appreciated the humidifier - a really nice touch! A heated, enclosed garage was luxury. But the real winner here is location. Ski in, ski out is why you should pursue the Ptarmigan House. Oh, and Matt at the front desk is a gem. Incredibly helpful, unobtrusive, kind, and just seemed to be honestly interested in your best interest. We'll be back.

Loved the location - ski-in & out as well as walking to restaurants etc.. shuttle service great as well. Property is cozy & comfortable! Note, kitchen needs knives - All very dull and no chopping knife. Also, Needs a chopping board!

WOW! What an incredible place!

We SO enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated condo just steps from the slopes! The condo was stylish, comfortable, open, spacious and well organized for skiers with plenty of hooks for jackets, hats, ski pants and towels. The ski lockers were conveniently located to store the gear and the hot tub was clean and spacious after a long day of skiing. Upon our arrival, the plush robes and cold beer were some welcome touches to our stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful to our questions and requests. With the Iron Waffle (amazing breakfast), Christy's (equipment) and the Wild Plum ( great grocery/restaurant) within a short walk, the location was perfect! We did not take advantage of the free shuttle since we had a car; parking under the building was easy and convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a comfortable, convenient and luxurious place to stay!
