"We really enjoyed our stay, it is in an old house that has character. The owners are really friendly and we enjoyed good conversations with them. We even could use their breakfast room one day when it was too rainy to use their roof terrace. If you like older properties with little nooks and crannies and some steps here and there and nice fixed up rooms then this is your place. Lots of plants around as well. On the whole: good stay, we can recommend the place."

"Cottage was spacious with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and good amenities, fixtures and fittings. We arrived just on dark and there were no dining options, power was limited to a few lights, due to daily "load shedding", so unable to microwave or even get a cup of tea until full power returned an hour or more later. Next morning unable to find a suitable power outlet for hairdryers supplied - on checking out was advised compatible points beside/under beds??? Staff were personable and helpful...

"I loved the historical building. The loft rooms were trendy and nicely decorated. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Could have been a bit more attention to detail, like marks on the couch cushions that could have been cleaned off. There is no parking if you come in a vehicle and we had to leave our car in the street which we weren't very happy about. There was a guard there and the car was fine though."
