Delightful barn conversion, with exposed beams, slate floors and wood burning stove, close to the South Downs, Worthing nearby.. All on the Ground Floor:

Open plan living space.

Living area: TV, DVD Player, CD Player, Woodburner, Patio Door To Decking

Dining area.

Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds, Patio Door To Decking

Bathroom: Roll Top Bath, Toilet. Electric storage heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder available locally. Cot and highchair available on request. Enclosed decked area with sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Electric vehicle charging is not permitted at the property.. Enjoying a rural location in the lovely Sussex countryside, these two beautifully refurbished, detached single-storey barn conversions are located close to the South Downs and only 15 minutes’ drive to the beach. Within easy reach are beaches at Worthing and Brighton, historic Arundel with stunning castle and Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Chichester with its cathedral and Goodwood/Fontwell races. Plenty of National Trust homes and gardens to visit. Shop 1 mile, pubs and restaurants 2 miles.

Not idyllic holiday

A peaceful setting. Extremely poor Wi-Fi. TV, microwave, did not work there were no operating instructions. There were wasps inside on arrival we mentioned it next day to owner who came out and said she had no previous knowledge of them even though there were dead wasps in the window channels of both hall and bedroom. Every day after we managed to collect approx 100 wasps per day. We found the nest in the roof and reported it and suggested pest control should be called. Of our 7 day holiday only on the 5th and 6th were the wasps dealt with properly. Only the 7th day was it live wasp free. One of our party was stung twice. We feel the property should not have been let in this condition.

Great property, very comfortable and well equipped. Situated in a quiet area. Ideal for visiting friends in local area.

Quiet,attractive cottage

Property was comfortable (beds a bit hard), well located and very quiet. A great place to relax because there is no phone signal and WiFi very slow. It was clean and well presented.
