"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms.
The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums.
The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

"Staff tries to keep it tidy and clean. Guests are not allowed to walk on their shoes but rather leave them at the entrance inside. Slippers were provided. It’s a hostel centrally located in the main strip. Bathrooms are shared, rooms are much compact; important fo know beforehand. Shops and plenty of eateries nearby. It has acceptable standards. The only thing that ruined my impression was the next door guests who disregarded respect for silence and privacy after midnight. While there was a...

"Beautiful area with a view of the beach and many walking trails, walking distance to public transport and a small square with shops and restaurants. The rooms are small but clean, there is a shared shower room, shared bathrooms, and a shared kitchen. You will need to clean up after yourself if cooking. The staff is only there in the morning but very kind and helpful. It is a good place to stay if you like hostels."

"Great location, right off the railway station, close to all the landmarks, as well as dining and shopping. Well designed hotel, the cozy type of rooms a bit on the small side, but space well organized, so overall, very comfortable.
Very generous breakfast, good staff, would definitely go back. The pool was closed during our stay, unfortunately."
"Great place to stay for sightseeing Stockholm. Convenient, many good restaurants and shopping centers are within walking distance. Hotel staffs are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended."
"Staff was very welcoming and helpful on arrival. Hotel is well located for walking and access to central rail station. Room was clean, good and quiet. Breakfast was decent but not as fine as some other hotels. Overall, very comfortable stay."
"Excellent location, just a few steps from the touristic places. The only downside was that the room was quite warm because there was no air conditioning"
"I liked the hotel’s modern design and overall aesthetic. The burgers at the restaurant were delicious! However, I was disappointed that the room didn’t include a refrigerator or microwave. The room is also very small for four people, making our stay less comfortable than expected."
"The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The price did not include breakfast as other hotels in Sweden and Finland have. The room is comfortable and the location is excellent: right on Medborgarpladtsen, and close to the Slusen metro stop in Södermalm."
By choosing a hostel, you can cut your spending on lodging and save more of your budget for fun things to do during your stay. You can enjoy activities like shopping, and the natural parks create an appealing natural setting.
