I arrived for check in before 3pm and was happy to wait until the room was ready at 3pm. I returned to the hotel at 3.30pm to be told the room was ready and was given the key. When I got to the room it had not yet been serviced by housekeeping. I had to return the key and wait another 45 minutes to check in. The key they gave me the second time did not work in the door, meaning I had to return to reception *again*. There is only one lift working, meaning the entire hotel is using one lift so the wait for lift took forever. On our last day staying there we had been told check out was 12pm. At 9.30am a member of staff knocked on our door and asked us when we were planning to check out. When I told him 12pm, he said check out was 11am and if we planned to stay until 12pm I had to inform reception. The phone in the room did not work, so I had to get dressed (we had been asleep) and go down to reception to inform them we had been told check out was 12pm. When I told the clerk on reception about the man knocking at our door to inform us about the 11am check out time she seemed surprised and didn’t understand why this happened. In what was only a two night stay, there were at least 3 times I had to go to reception to complain.
