"Lovely stay we really enjoyed the peace and calmness of the surroundings. Joanna the host and her husband were very charming and helpful. Hut was spotless. Bathroom was surprisingly good (as we always worry about these things, don't we!). Didn't use the firewood hot tub but it was neatly attached to the hut space. Breakfast with the cows looking from the field was a delight. Would go back. Recommended."

"What a lovely place, we hired a beautiful Bell tent for 2 nights. It was set up with all the essentials on our arrival. The plot had plenty of space around to set up bbq room and room for kids to play. The site, washrooms and kitchen were like new, very well maintained regularly cleaned. I have a pet allergy so the no pets policy was a great bonus here for me too. We had a great time and will book again. Thank you. "

Runswick bay has a beautiful beach and is quiet and unspoilt which suited us! Yet it was a short drive to hot spots such as Whitby, Sandsend and Robin Hoods Bay. We would love to return in the not too distant future."
