The property exceeded expectations! John was super helpful and always answered our questions quickly. And Mandy was so nice and thorough on the house tour and made sure we felt right at home.Cannot recommend this property enough, we’ll definitely be back next year!

We loved our stayed in this historic property. Some of the rooms were cleaner than others and some areas looked a little run down, for us, this added to the atmosphere but other guests may expect more manicured gardens etc. We were impressed with the quantities of tea, coffee, shower gel etc that were available for our use. The host was very friendly and helpful. Once we had settled in she kept in the background so we really felt that we had the place to ourselves.

Amazing stayz everyone in our team enjoyed the stay. It is worth every penny to be in this marvellous castle. Mr John and co host mandy was very warm and welcoming, very accomodative to changes. Definitely recommend for a group stay.

WOW what an experience. Staying in this historic castle was incredible. The building is beautiful and full of history, yet warm, comfortable, and very welcoming. It was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday, and the atmosphere made it feel extra special and memorable. We absolutely loved our time here and would happily return. It’s not just a stay it’s an experience!Would 100% recommend! The host was very accommodating and helped to make us feel welcome

Had a wonderful time. Castle is amazing. Rooms are lovely with confy beds and fab bathrooms. Private grounds made it perfect for a large family gathering. Our host Mandy was spot on.

The check in was very awkward because we were given the gate code but didn't know it was a secret. The attendant refrigerator had rotting food in it which filled the kitchen with awful stench that disuaded us from using the kitchen. The detached tower we stayed in was supposed to accommodate 4, but the sheet was ony large enough for one. We were invited to tour the main mansion, but with little direction on which places were off limits.

A unique and brilliant property!
My friends and I stayed here for my 26th and it was absolutely brilliant, the rooms are stunning, the host was so helpful and friendly, and it had everything we needed.
Id recommend this property to any groups who'd like a gorgeous property to celebrate together in.

2025 Family castle get together
We had a great time exploring the castle and the grounds.The guest kitchen, lounge, dining, and billard room were perfect for us to get together. Cooking for 20 of us in one go was certainly challenging but we managed.
