「Asked for and received a Rhine river facing balcony room. Well worth the extra cost. Desk staff was pleasant and always helpful. Beer & wine available in lobby area which is also where an excellent breakfast is each morning with indoor and outdoor seating. Short walk to Deutches Ecke. Restaurants very nearby or a 10-15 minute walk to a charming vehicle free multi block shopping area. 」

「This hotel is quaint and charming with very attentive staff. The restaurant food is superb! It is near train tracks but the windows close out the noise perfectly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is that it is not in the main town of St.Goar. This isn’t a problem if you have a car or bike. We thought we could walk it but we underestimated how far it is. We had to rely on the local taxi and while very efficient, it cost us 18 euros every trip (each way)...
