“We’ve stayed at this property multiple times and throughly enjoyed our stay. WiFi was added since our last stay and it was a wonderful upgrade for us to bring our Roku. As others have mentioned there are multiple trains daily which we knew about. There is one around 7-7:20am which you should be aware of. This stay the sheets were a little more worn and there was more pet hair but the master bed was very comfortable. We would recommend staying here and probably will again. ”

“Perfect for us. Cozy, clean, and comfortable.We enjoy coffee and tea in the morning in the four season room. We didn't need for anything. Wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable host. Excellent location. We enjoyed walks and loved watching the barges go by. We will stay again when in the area.”

“Really cute & clean property! Historic building well maintained. Host communicated clearly with us sending parking, WiFi & security lock information prior to arrival. There was a problem getting the message from VRBO as reservation was booked through Expedia but host responded quickly & resent. We were 12.5 hours from home but this was a great home away from home! ”
