Perfect Stay

My wife and I enjoyed five nights in the Stable Cottage. Because the weather was mostly perfect, we left the doors and windows open and enjoyed the air. The owner dropped in. She was delightful.

A great choice all round.

Stable Cottage is such a relaxing place to stay. Well provided with cooking equipment, comfy seating and plenty of space. Even a decent sized teapot which we appreciated. The outdoor space gets the afternoon sun. Plenty of storage space for clothes too. The Internet TV is a bit slow and limited to player, amazon and YouTube so I would recommend taking an HDMI cable fir more Onside parking is a bonus and it's easy to walk into Painswick to sample the cafes and pubs. We would definitely go back.

Stable Cottage stay

My husband and I spent an excellent three days at Stable Cottage. Very well equipped and a beautiful space with so much room outside. The Pétanque was an great addition and led to some competitive evenings of play! Stunning cottage in a stunning location. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful private cottage in lovely village

What a find! This beautifully decorated comfortable cottage was located in private grounds with its own secure garden for our dog. Fully stocked with everything you need, a home from home. We loved the boules area as a family, playing in the evenings. Located centrally in Painswick we thoroughly enjoyed a circular walk up to Painswick Beacon, enjoying breathtaking views along the way. (8km). A great base to visit other areas too.
