Great vacation home

This place was great! Plenty of room for 21 of us, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the staff addressed our minor concerns quickly and professionally. Would definitely recommend.

Family Get Away

Our family had a great time here. Plenty of space for lots of kids and adults. Super close to Deadwood, but with all of the amenities and entertainment at the house there was no need to leave!

Stayed with 20 Family member everyone enjoyed the Well Stocked kitchen with Quality supplies, had everything you need to cook, Theater Room was great, Kids used Pool and hot tubs everyday, everyone had plenty of room. Views all around the Home are Amazing with Deer Strolling around the grounds...What a great Time...

Family vacation

This was the perfect place for all 16 of us ages 3 to 70. It had everything at the house that you could ever need. There is enough room for everyone and enough things to do. Heck, we didn’t have to leave the house if we didn’t want to. The kids all enjoyed the pool pretty much couldn’t get them out of it. I would recommend this for anyone!

South Dakota Vacation

The house was beautiful and clean. The toys was amazing and the kids loved them. The swimming pool was a bit hit also! The location was really great. Close to Deadwood to go eat in town and close enough to trail heads to go ride our razors. The parking was not as plentiful for trucks and trailers as was needed. This was the only thing not Perfect. I highly recommend this house you will love it!

Better than expected!

The descriptions and photos of this amazing property did not even live up to its actual awesomeness. Every detail was thought of and things were clean and generously provided. The kids had a great time in the pool, theater room, game room, garage arcade, beach volleyball court and outdoor play structure. The adults enjoyed the comfortable rooms and beautiful bathrooms! My only complaint is that the management company did not accurately portray amenities available at the house.

Best Weekend Yet

We have been coming to Deadwood for our guys trips 3 years in a row. What started out as bachelor party weekends has turned into an annual thing. This year we wanted to try out Deadwood and was our first year using Vacasa along with staying at this home. It was everything advertised and more. Plenty of room for all 15 of our guests and more than enough things to do than we could handle in 4 days, 3 nights. Whether it be a family reunion mixed of all ages or a group of friends getting together for an event - this place has you covered. Would definitely recommend.

Family Reunion

We couldn’t be more pleased with the location, house, and everything within that was available for every age group. Pictures on line don’t do it justice. The house was gorgeous, layout perfect. We lacked nothing. From a garage large enough for all our meals for a group of 24 to playing games inside when it rained outside. The pool and theater were such a hit for the kids, and hot tubs for adults. We had beautiful views. Neighbors were friendly to those who went walking. So many outdoor activities available. Everyone raved about the place and definitely will return.

High Country Pool House

This house is amazing and worked perfectly for our group. We only had a couple minor issues which were remedied quickly. The door code wodn't work for us but there was a backup key in a box by the door. It took about 5-10 minutes to get ahold of a representative to get us that keybox code. The hot tubs were quite dirty. I felt like there was sand in the bottom and scum around the edges. Many of the rocking patio chairs were broken and you had to be careful when you sat down to nit flip over backwards. Overall the house was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

Deadwood UTV Adventure

We loved this house! It was large enough to hold our group of 20. It had many nice features, including indoor pool, 2 hot tubs, and a media room. The house was well stock with everything we needed. Conveniently located between Deadwood and Sturgis. The house was very clean and super comfortable for our large group. the only problem we had was 3 TVs didn't work and a clogged toilet on Saturday morning. After leaving 2 messages with no response, on Sunday we had go buy a plunger to unclog the toilet ourselves The 3 rooms went without TV for those days (not a deal breaker, but kinda of a bummer). On Monday they showed up to fix the toilet (which we already fixed) and get three of the TVs working correctly. in conclusion however, I would highly recommend the property We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house!

24 of us stayed at the High Country Pool House March 28- April 1. We celebrated an 80th birthday and Easter. Our family aged 2.5 to 83 years and everyone had a great time. So many areas to gather whether you want a competitive game of cards to reading a book quietly. The pool house of course was the star of the show with its warm temperature and pool toys. Your choice of indoor or outdoor hot tubs were also favorites. The kitchen and 2 dining rooms held us all comfortably and with our full bellies we waddled off to the comfiest beds. The kids loved the playground set and sledded down the big hill since it snowed during our stay. The 3 sets of washers/dryers mean no going home with dirty laundry and there are plenty of refrigerators for all the food we brought. The teenagers in our group could usually be found in the theater room and the pool table held highly competitive games! Loved the closeness to Deadwood as we went in for supper one night and left the kiddos behind. Can’t recommend this house enough for a larger gathering place.

High Country Pool House VRBO

This is the second year we have rented the High Country Pool House. It is the perfect size for our family and the pool is the most fun of all. It has so many options for entertainment, from theater room, volleyball, ping pong and so much more. Back yard furniture was cleaned this year, but could use a spider spraying around the outside perimeter. The added cemented area in the back was a big improvement as well as new theater seats. The playground equipment is needing some updating. It is getting very wobbly. A recommendation would be to add an outdoor basketball hoop. Also, the theater room internet connections was so slow. Constantly buffering so unable to use Prime, Netflix, etc. One thing we noticed is that no matter what we changed thermostats to, it didn't change the temps in the house. Assuming it is preprogramed, but was actually too cold in the house most of the time. The location to Deadwood is perfect. We love this house and will not think twice about renting it again.

The house fit our needs so well with plenty of bedrooms and baths to accommodate our party of 8 adults and 7 kids. The pool house was so fun!! The outdoor patio was beautiful for morning coffee! Everything just suited us all so well! We did a family movie night in the theater the last night there…so many core memories made for us, our kids and grandchildren!

Perfect family vacation !

This house had so many options in bedroom/sleeping arrangements so accommodated all of our family needs! The kids had so much fun with the pool and hot tubs! Definitely was a key feature for us! There were plenty of towels and linens in all of the bathrooms, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked!! Two laundry sets also was very convenient!! We had a very memorable family vacation as a family of 15!!

Great rental!

This house was perfect for our family. We had nineteen people that stayed and there was so much to do for everyone. The ten bedrooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The indoor pool was such a fun time for our grandkids. We loved the outdoor patio and spent mornings out there visiting with our coffee enjoying the beauty of the Black Hills. Great vacation home!

Everything you want and more

This place has everything you need to keep a family of 24 entertained from ages 5 through 74 and Deadwood and the surrounding area had enough to entertain for a couple hours without a lot of expense. The outside of this home has gorgeous patio with so many options of chairs and seating to keep everyone close.

Magnificent

Beautiful property, so much room, lots of activities available… they thought of everything! Recommend this place to families getting together for vacation, reunions, or just a group of friends for a weekend! So well thought out. Sixteen of us and there was plenty of room to hang out together or enough private space that you could chill out alone if you wanted to. Would definitely do a family vacation here again!!!
