"The best place for family/ friends’ staycation! Lovely owners make your trip so special. All the facility is well maintained with cute decors and very clean, everything is equipped. What you should bring is only food and drinks. It is located right next to the beautiful shrine which is Unesco world heritage, and having amazing view of Mt.Fuji from the terrace. We stayed with 2 toddlers and 4 adults but space was more than enough, all of us was really happy to stay in this beautiful property...

"Great place, close to everything. Bedroom and living area, bathroom all excellent. Kitchen a little light on bench space. Easy to find but entry was a bit challenging, but maybe partly my fault. "

"The room was very large and had 2 floors, which we can choose either to sleep on normal single bed or futon. It also had two restrooms which was good if you travel with the group. The hotel served us simple breakfast with breads, veggie soup, juices & coffee at the room which was very nice although it was a bit too much for us. A few cons here would be the location of each room which is uphill and it wasn't pleasant to drag all heavy luggage to the room while check out time was a bit too early...

"As soon as you open the door you smell the mold! This should not be a rental as it cannot be safe to stay in. You can see the mold seeping through the walls (I have pucs if needed) and the smell is terrible! Communication was difficult prior to check in."

"周りの環境は、普段都会では味わえない自然を感じられてとて気持ちよかったです。周りを山に囲まれて非日常感を楽しめました。ただ詳細な写真のような河原でのBBQをするのには労力が必要であり、少し残念な気持ちがありました。"

Best hotel I’ve stayed in! 10/10!

"A really amazing hotel that I really can’t fault. The service was amazing and felt very classic. The free amenities included such as coffee and drinks bar was a great touch. And the hotels rich history was really on display and made the place feel really special. The room we stayed in the forest wing was spacious and nice. The TV offered Netflix and other options which was good for me as an English speaker for entertainment. The hotel restaurants and bars are absolutely amazing and classic if you like fine dining. If not there are many cafes at a walkable distance. The location itself is great with many cool hikes and walks from the hotel, including a short 1km walk to the Hakone open air museum which was fun! Overall 10/10 so much fun, such a great vibe. Such classic and historic amenities. Can’t recommend more! "

"Great staying experience. Staff provides very good service. Every staff I interacted with spoke good English. The indoor and outdoor onsen make our experience even better. Food is good quality though a little expensive. Overall, it’s worth the money spent. "
