“My family really enjoyed our stay. This was one of the most affordable cabins in Big Bear, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything looked fairly recently remodeled. Everything worked well, the kitchen had everything I needed, the beds are comfortable, the hot tub was relaxing and we loved all the decorations. I hope to stay here again!”

“Everything about the stay was fantastic! There were a few maintenance difficulties, however, the management was on it in a moment! A maintenance person came out almost immediately to check out the situation and fix the problem. Jose, the maintenance man, was great! It was a lovely week and a lovely place.”

“We had an amazing stay at Ursa Major. The cabin was clean and cozy, and a perfect size for our small family. We loved the fenced in yard for running around with our daughter and pups, and throwing snowballs at each other. The fireplace was perfect for enjoying hot chocolate in the evenings as well. It was a little chilly on the ground floor but with the bedrooms being upstairs, we were more than comfortable at overnight! Please note, the staircase is quite steep, but carpeted. Our daughter likes……

“I really wanted to like this place and went in with an open mind. I’ll start with the positives: the host was very responsive, and communication was good. The location is also great, very close to all the fun things Big Bear has to offer.Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our stay. We were unable to do any kind of early check-in, even after requesting it. While I understand the need for cleaning between guests, that would have been easier to accept if the home had felt clean……

“It was very cozy. Everything we needed was there like extra blankets, pillows, spices in the cabinets. We just wish the board games were complete. I've thing we didn't like was that some of the pillows had stains like they weren't washed. Another thing is that the monoxide alarms went off at 1:30am for no reason. Nothing had been used or left on for it to have to go off all over the house. Overall the stay was pleasant. Would definitely return. ”
