"Very nice view of the lake. Very helpful staff. The rooms have a private onsen hot tub on the balcony. The rooms have tatami and are set up to sleep on the floor. You can request a bed frame to elevate the futon, but it's better to request a bed when making the reservation (although you may enjoy sleeping on a futon, Japanese style)."

"The rooms were tiny. My wife and I had to coordinate to open our suitcases. There was basically just a bed and a tiny amount of space around it. It certainly didn’t feel like 140 square feet. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was very nice."

It's right outside of the Hikone castle area and you can get a great view of the castle and the surrounding areas basically at all times. It's also right near the Yumek"
