“The house was very hard to find. I called the host when I got there but didn’t get an answer. I messaged through the app and no answer until a couple of turns later. The Home is in an alley which looked terrifying. The main parts of the home are nice. The bedsheets for one of the beds however, was very old and not appealing to sleep on. The description states that up to 2 pets are welcome and has no mention of fees. Beware if you take your pets, they will try to charge you ridiculous fees……

“The house was very clean, neat, uncluttered and updated. We stayed several days, while visiting family and attending a funeral. The house was quiet and comfortable. The location of the house was perfect for us in downtown Reedley. Also, it was really great to have the park located just across the alley, so when my niece dropped by with her toddler, they could go play in the park. The host was very responsive and helpful if we had questions. The house is a half block from Reedley’s Main……

“Communication with host not very good. No guidance. Amenities not exactly as advertised on VRBO. No garage access, no grill, hot tub not working, multiple light bulbs out and more. ”

“The Hummingbird Cottage was a very pleasant and peaceful retreat in Ivanhoe agricultural territory. It is close to Visalia, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Their hiking trail around the orange orchards and Sycamore trees was a short but enjoyable walk. Of course the highlight was the hummingbirds flying from nearby trees to the feeders! The host was very attentive to our requests and there were plenty of sleeping options in the cottage. Very charming!”

“Very clean, modern 3 bedroom apartment. Easy parking. Close to several restaurants, gas station, and Target. Laundry room was a major plus after 6 days camping in national parks. There is not a common “living room” space but there are 2 chairs in main bedroom. There is a small table and 4 chairs in the kitchen.”

“The hosts were great. Both Joe and his wife were very friendly and personable. Accommodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend it!”

“Property is exactly as advertised. Worked well for our family - close to national parks and a nice small town only minutes away. Our kids loved the very friendly dogs and horses nearby. Kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer were something we needed for our road trip. Happy with our stay.”

“Older home but well updated and well appointed. Smooth transaction throughout.”

“Home was very nice. We were passing through to get to Sequioa and was a great place to stop for the night. Cute home. Wish we could have enjoyed the nice backyard but being it was 100 degrees out that didn’t happen! If we were ever in the area we would stay again!”

“Quick friendly response. House description and amenities accurate. Cleanliness ”

“Very quiet. Had a good night of sleep.”

“Where do I begin? I feel like we got scammed. The reviews for this "apartment" were a 10 out of 10, and let me tell you it was more like a 4 out of 10. It was not advertised as a Motel 6 AT ALL! If I knew that, I would have booked at an actual Motel 6 for less money. I didn't feel safe checking in, especially with the bulletproof glass that was between me and the office clerk. My wife and kid stayed in the car before I let them know it was safe to come to the room. There were literally……

“Awesome property! Sabrina went out of her way to accommodate us.”

“A quiet spot by the pool with decent wifi made for a pleasant stay.”

“Very nice house. Just needs more blankets for the roll out beds.”

“Good location to visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks. Great coffee station! Lisa is wonderful to work with. Linens/towels could use some updating. Would stay here again.”

“It’s a little bit off the main road, but it’s very quiet very nice. Well stocked the owner is very nice and attentive lives close by if there’s a major problem.”
