Holiday Inn Club Vacations Tahoe Ridge Resort by IHG

"I wasn’t impressed with Holiday Inn’s way of check in. At the desk everything was normal until it came time to receiving your key. Then we had to go to another location where we got the hard sell to come to their timeshare meeting. The previous owners had a similar meeting. However, there was no hard sell at the check-in desk to come. My wife and I began coming to this property in 2011 prior to Holiday Inn taking over. The last time was in 2017. The first 3 times were in the Cascade lodge. We loved that place. This time we stayed in the Terrace. Overall the place was clean. However, the tiles in the elevators were worn due to ski boots and equipment. The fan in the main room only worked one way. The chains to turn the light on and off and change fan speed were stuck. When the fan was turned on the light stayed on and it was stuck at its slowest speed. Fan direction couldn’t be changed between winter and summer. The programmable portion it the coffee pot didn’t work. We asked for another and it was the same. In the kitchen they had all the essentials, plates, silverware, pots and pans etc, there were no measuring cup/cups or spoons. The staff is very helpful. They responded quickly when we called regarding an issue we were having. In all they were the best part of our experience. This will probably be our last time coming to this resort. It needs a major refresher to be in line for the prices charged."

"The staff, starting at the front desk, to the housekeepers, bartenders and servers were Very Professional. We asked; they answered. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in supreme hospitality, location, yummy meals, and gorgeous rooms!!"

"Room was clean, nice and comfortable. There was a mix up with my bookings . I had to book two separate days. Staff could not accommodate my stay in the same room. We had to move rooms on the second night."

"I enjoyed having a living room and bedroom..bed was comfy..I would have liked breakfast but coffee in lobby and full kitchen was good..whole foods is just across the street. We did find street parking a block north and it was safe..they have a local bear that comes every night And he is harmless"

"Room was very clean, front desk help was super polite, and changed our room quickly when we explained that there was a barking dog in residence on our floor. They are pet friendly but this little dog was noisy! Had a peaceful night in another room. Breakfast was good."
