Sun City West Hotel with Pool

"I can only give this property one star—and that is solely for the friendliness of the staff, which was the only positive aspect of our stay. We originally booked a four-night visit but ended up leaving after just one night. The property is nothing like what is pictured online. Our room was in extremely poor condition and appeared not to have been properly cleaned. One pillow was missing a pillowcase, and the single washcloth provided had visible toothpaste and what looked like food residue on it. There were stains throughout the carpet and on the furniture, and dust lined the entire perimeter of the room. To make matters worse, there was an unidentifiable and very unpleasant substance on the door frame at eye level. There was also no extra bedding provided for the pull-out bed. The amenities were equally disappointing. The pools ran out of towels with no clear timeline for restocking, and the lazy river didn’t have enough tubes for guests. There was ongoing construction, and accessing the waterpark required walking through active work areas with trucks moving around. Additionally, you’re not allowed to bring anything into the waterpark except water, which was inconvenient. During the night, one of the wall-mounted shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers fell off and crashed into the tub. Later, someone pounded on our door at 2 a.m., which felt unsafe and unacceptable. We couldn’t leave fast enough. This was a very disappointing experience and far below what we expected."

"Room was clean and fresh. A/C worked. Beds were comfortable. Pool was sparkling the whole time. Definitely will be staying there again. "

"This property was gorgeous and perfectly located for my family and I. The pools were wonderful and staff very friendly and helpful. An added bonus was the easy access to trails and mountain foothills. We will be back"

"Horrible Service. Called front desk repeatedly, no one ever answered. Arrived at hotel around 3AM, to find out, the hotel doesnt allow check-ins after 12AM. Never talked to anyone. Had to book another stay somewhere else for the weekend."

"Room was missing basic stuff like soap. The breakfast options were terrible and the area not clean. Poor value for the price."

"Room in bad shape furniture was very dingy and old baseboards were dirty walls or dirty paint was very old furniture owed"

"If you are looking at this hotel for the electric car charging (which is why I chose it) they want to charge $20 to use it. I don't spend $20 at any charger. "

"The Property Isnt In The Best Neighborhood, The Drive Into The Property Made Me Question What I Was About To Go Into. Thankfully The Inside Was Very Nice And Clean. The Rooms Were Spacious Too. There Are A Lot Of Fast Food Places Around. Unfortunately I Had A Bad Experience The First Night Where The People Next Door Decided To Have A Party, Playing Music So Loud The Walls Trembled And A Woman Singing And Yelping Like She Was The Only One In That Building. They Started At 1a.m.And Didnt Shut Up Till 8a.m. We Didnt Get Any Sleep And Didnt Report It As Nowadays Im Terrified Of Retaliation If They Had Found Out I Had Reported Them. While This Isn't The Hotels Fault, I Wish People Would Be Mindful Of Others When Staying At Hotels. I Stayed There 2 Nights And Thankfully The 2nd Night Was Much Better. I Think These People Booked The Room Just To Throw A Party."
